Explore Careers, Wages & Trends. There are three different ways you

can start searching for different jobs on the Career, Wages and

Trends page.

OPTION 1

• You can type in a career of your interest

in the search box. • It will then generate a

list of jobs for you to view that match your

search.

OPTION 2

• You can explore careers in-depth from any of

Illinois’ 16 career pathways by clicking the

pathway you are interested in.

• Once you click on a pathway you will be able

to view a list of jobs in that pathway. Be sure to check Illinois workNet out on

your phone or tablet as well.

There are three different ways you can start searching for

different jobs on the Career, Wages and Trends page.

OPTION 3• You can click on the link Searching for and Selecting Demand Occupations which will take you to the Demand

Occupations Search.

• Fill in your region, choose from one of the 6 in

demand Career Clusters, and pick a pathway or type

in a keyword to view a list of in demand jobs in your

region.

Once you find a career your interested in you can click on it to learn more about it. Options include

an overview of the job, employment outlooks, wages and trends, skills and interests needed, education, workplace knowledge, workplace

conditions, wages, etc.

Bookmark any of your favorite careers and they will be saved in your My Dashboard for easy access.
