elcome to Carey & Fox, an exclusive brand that was started by my Father back in 1985, based on traditional joinery craftsmanship, which we still harness today. In more recent years we have invested in cutting edge machinery and product design that now makes our bespoke timber windows, doors, Orangeries, Atriums and other glazed products so highly regarded. We’re passionate about what we do, after all it has our family name on it.

Take a look through our brochure to find out why discerning homeowners, fastidious architects and experienced building contractors ask for our products by name. We’re also proud that all of our products are handmade in our factory in South Kirkby, West Yorkshire.

ith a history in timber windows, doors, Orangeries, Atriums and other glazed products that dates back nearly 30 years, we’ve been able to build up considerable experience and expertise. This includes bespoke timber projects from small domestic installations, Grade II listed renovations, country homes to even sizable commercial projects in London.

Our team of experienced joiners undertake regular training through local colleges, external joinery specialists and through a number of key partners that

we have worked with, who bring considerable global expertise. Our partners and suppliers bring exclusive and exciting new timbers such as Lignia and pioneering stains and paints from Scandanavia, to add to the knowledge and experience we have at Carey & Fox.

Not only do we harness our expertise in the factory, but also at the point of sale and specification where we can offer specific advice on product design and materials, underpinned by the very fact that our products are all made in the UK.

ood is a natural product and has been used in building and construction for hundreds of years with a great deal of success. While timber windows, doors and other glazed elements may have suffered in the past, thanks to new materials, processes and finishes we are now able to offer products with a far greater lifespan and with less ongoing maintenance.

We can offer both hardwoods and engineered timbers and provide practical and expert advice on which exact material to use, as we’re not limited to an overseas factory

for their manufacture. Unfortunately in recent years, other joinery companies have moved their manufacturing facilities overseas into countries such as Poland, but we believe in supporting and nurturing joinery expertise in the UK.

Given the global issue of de-forestation we also take great care in the sourcing of our timbers, as it’s important for the future of our planet and as we continue the Carey & Fox legacy forward for future generations. Engineered timbers from Lignia are carefully sourced as are the cedar and oak hardwoods we use elsewhere in our bespoke, hand crafted range of glazed products.
