Facebook

• Facebook is the social networking service, facebook has more than 800 million active users, facebook is started since february of 2004 and was founded by Marc Zuckerberg. The Web site's membership was initially limited by the founders to Harvard students. In July of 2010, Facebook has 500 million members, and translations to 70 languages.1 In May of 2011, achieves the 600 million users.

Wikipedia

• Wikipedia is the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit. The founder of wikipedia is Jimmy wales. Wikipedia has many lenguages that you can choice like catalan, spanish english, italian, euskara…etc.

• Wikipedia is one of the social web most visited in the world.

Twitter

• Twitter is a online social networking and microbloggin service that enables its users to send and read textbased posts of up to 140 characters.

• Twitter was created in march 2006 by Jack Dorsey and launched that july, Twitter rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with over 300 million users as of 2011

Blogger

• Blogger is a blog-publishing service that allows private or multi-user blogs with time-stamped entries. It was created by Pyra Labs, which was bought by Google in 2003. Generally, the blogs are hosted by Google at a subdomain of blogspot.com.

• In July of 2011 a news outlet announced that Google intends to change the name of the service from "Blogger" to "Google Blogs

Second life

• Second Life is an online virtual world developed by Linden Lab. It was launched on June 23, 2003. A number of free clien programs, or Viewers, enable Second Life users, called Residents, to interact with each other through avatars.

picassa

• Picasa is a software download from Google that helps you organize, edit, and share your photos. It's free, and easy to use.

Youtube

• YouTube is a video-sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005, on which users can upload, view and share videos.

• The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video

Google

• Google is an American multinational public corporation invested in Internet search, cloud computing, and advertising technologies. It was first incorporated as a privately held company on September 4, 1998, and its initial public offering followed on August 19, 2004.
