UAF has 124 distance graduates (1995-2013)
Students from all regions of Alaska are graduating with their BASW through the distance program.
Graduates of the program are gaining employment and staying employed in Alaska in high numbers. *2013 Alaska Department of Labor graduate

Of all distance graduates since 1995, 57% of BASW graduates were employed in Department of Labor defined “Social Work or related” fields in the State of Alaska as of 2013.
Finally, graduates of the distance social work program at UAF who remained working in Alaska are earning, in large part, a fair wage. (note this data includes both full and part time workers).
