Completion of the final phase of our
development plan will allow us to welcome
104 additional kids all year long. For us, it’s a
faithful finish. For the kids we will welcome,
it’s just the beginning.
Carolina Point A Faithful Finish
Sacred Spaces Some of the most sacred places I’ve ever visited are the club rooms and dorms at our Young Life camps. In club rooms, night after night, kids hear the Gospel – such good news for kids longing to know they are loved just as they are by the God who made them. Hundreds of thousands of kids have stood up in club rooms across the country to “Say-So,” and declare their new-found faith in Jesus Christ.
Just as sacred are the safe spaces of their dorms. There, during cabin times, kids process what they’ve heard with their leaders and friends.
In this final phase of development of Carolina Point, we are creating more of these sacred spaces for more kids. Contributions to the final phase will allow us to gather more kids in a dedicated club room space. To do that, we need a place for them to stay — beds for 104 additional kids in a new dorm.
We would never have made it to this final phase without the generosity of so many who share our heart and vision for this sacred place. We will not complete it without God’s movement in the hearts of His people to give generously, again — to a faithful finish.

More PlacesWith the completion of this final development phase, we can increase camp capacity by one third, or 104 campers, for a total of 408 campers and leaders. Building a new dorm, club room, gymnasium, and two new cabin rides will have far-reaching implications:
A fully-developed property to draw more areas and campers year-round.
A closer camp for school season and weekend camp trips in our four-state area.
A more affordable camp because of reduced transportation costs.
More camping opportunities for kids with disabilities and teen moms.
Not long ago, 650 kids and leaders slept on floors at SharpTop Cove and Windy Gap. In three phases and with $23 million already raised, the development of Carolina Point has relieved that camp crowding and expanded camping opportunities in the southeast. Since its opening in 2013, more than 17,000 kids have visited Carolina Point. But there are more kids eager to come here. More kids eager to experience the best week of their lives at Carolina Point.
Carolina Point is strategically
located, just hours away from
major cities and Young Life
areas in the southeast.
For Every KidCarolina Point is a fully accessible camp, designed and constructed for enjoyment by all kids — including kids with disabilities and teen moms and their babies, too.
Our state-of-the art facilities encourage campers of all abilities to have fun, take risks and challenge their fears to discover God’s sufficiency, a caring community, and the joy of abundant living.
“My favorite part of summer staff at Carolina Point isshowing God’s love to the campers.” — Ben Sumner

In Every SeasonA fully-developed Carolina Point makes it a closer and more desirable option for school season and weekend camps. Completing the final phase of Carolina Point not only expands camp capacity, it extends our camping season as well.

Perhaps we can measure Carolina Point’s reach by counting the number of camper beds, or summer weeks and weekend camps. But can we measure the lasting impact in kids’ lives of a
camp experience at Carolina Point? No way. It will push the boundaries of eternity. ”“
