Welcome to Helsinki!

We are honoured to host this year’s Cartoon Digital in Helsinki and what better time to do it than the year we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of Finnish animation. It is the perfect time to look forward to the 

future, at what is possible now and perhaps in the next hundred years. 

This year the seminar focuses on creating entertainment for connected screens. The lines between different types of entertainment content are becoming increasingly blurred and the platforms on which people access that content are more varied than ever. This presents us with great opportunities for creative partnerships and synergy.

The seminar aims to give all of us a better understanding of content creation for a variety of shared platforms. We will hear expert speakers and be introduced to case studies and best practices from different corners of the digital world from television to animation and gaming. And hopefully all of us will also find more personal contacts, new collaboration opportunities and, most importantly, a head full of new ideas.

Even though our technical devices allow us to connect easily over great distances, it is always refreshing and inspiring to exchange ideas in person, to talk face-to-face with people and spend a little time in the same physical location.

We Love Animation

F or me, animation is a playground where you can show things that cannot happen in real life. Of course I can imagine, but often stories told using animation take me beyond my own imagination. They have different ways of triggering me: from gags and slapstick to 

documenting personal emotions and deep experiences, and with an ever-increasing variety of styles, from beautiful pencilled line drawing to the finesse of digital plush or fur in eyebrows.

We at the Nordisk Film & TV Fond top-finance the production and distribution of films and TV-series originating from the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden). I take the opportunity to list the animated projects we have supported during the past 12 months:  feature films “Bamse” by Tre Vänner (Sweden), “Emil & Ida” by Filmlance (Sweden), “The Christmas of Solan & Ludvig” by Maipo (Norway), “Beyond Beyond” by Copenhagen Bombay (Sweden/Denmark) – the opening film of this year´s Cartoon Movie, “Knutsen & Ludvigsen” by Tordenfilm (Norway) and “Moomins on the Riviera” by Handle Productions (Finland) and the animated series “What if...” by Lee Film (Sweden) and “Rita & Crocodile” by Dansk Tegnefilm Company (Denmark).

We are extremely proud to be part of this remarkable amount of diverse and original content from the Nordic countries, travelling all over the world.

Cartoon has grown from the very beginning of the 90’s first Forums into  “the platform” of the European animation industry. It has been a great achievement that deserves a big round of applause! 

Likewise I am extremely excited that Cartoon is coming back to Finland, after the Suomi Cartoon Forum 18 years ago, especially when Finnish animation is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Congratulations! I wish the Cartoon Digital participants a fruitful time. Creating new characters and universes, combining technology and storytelling, that’s what the evolution of this wonderful medium has always been about!

On behalf of Rovio, it is my pleasure to welcome you to Helsinki. As a former European Capital of Culture and the 2013 World Design Capital, Helsinki is a city bursting with creative energy and is proud to host Cartoon Digital 2014. With Finnish Animation celebrating its 

100th anniversary, there hasn’t been a better time to visit this magnificent city.

I’d like to thank Cartoon once again for bringing together the European audiovisual animation industry, and for keeping it at the forefront of the international market. This event is an excellent way of encouraging cross-border co-productions, supporting the technological revolution going on in the industry, and pioneering the exploitation of digital content around the world.

This year’s programme gathers together a rich and diverse collection of internationally renowned speakers from across Europe, and takes a look at the latest developments in the strategy, creation and exploitation of digital content for connected screens. We will be focusing on animation on digital and gaming platforms, something that is the essence of what Rovio is doing – telling stories that transcend platforms and formats.

Mobile continues to transform the gaming market, and we will continue to explore the digital dimensions of intellectual properties. Rovio’s ToonsTV, which recently celebrated its first anniversary, has turned every mobile device into a broadcast channel for animation and other video content. With over 2 billion views so far, it showcases the worldwide appeal of bringing together games, animated series and films. We will be also taking a look at the business side of apps, like financing digital content and crowdfunding.

I hope you take the time to enjoy what this great city has to offer. Come and learn about the latest developments in the industry, and network with some amazing people in a relaxed and professional atmosphere.

Dear Participants,

It is a pleasure to welcome you warmly to Cartoon Digital in  easy-going Helsinki. 

It is a great honour to have Cartoon returning to Finland the year Finnish animation is celebrating its 100th anniversary. It was in 

Helsinki in 1914 that three cinemas showed the first animated shorts made by a Finnish cartoonist Eric Vasström. Also Tove Jansson, the creator of “Moomins”, was born a hundred years ago in Helsinki where she wrote her beloved books. She was also a famous painter and an illustrator for the political magazine Gram. There is currently a large exhibition at the Finnish National Gallery, only 1.2 kilometres away, with many rarities from private collections as well as “Moomin” miniature houses on loan from Tampere Main Library. 

On top of its colourful past, Finland’s capital has an interesting present: it is considered one of the most influential hubs for the international games industry and it is also home to the majority of Finnish animation studios. Finnish animation is made in versatile formats and techniques from stop-motion to CGI and has many successes from “Angry Birds Toons” to “Niko” features. Animal characters might be our favourites but we can create our own little princesses too!

I hope you will make many sorts of discoveries as well as contacts during your stay in Helsinki and that you will have time to cycle along the seaside to enjoy the fresh air and Spring awakening.

O ver the years Cartoon Digital has always tried to enlighten animation producers on the new developments in the digital world that could affect production, financing and distribution of their animated TV series and animation films. 

Thanks to the support of Creative Europe of the European Commission, the Finnish Film Foundation, Finnanimation, Rovio Entertainment, and in collaboration with many other Finnish companies, we have been able to organize this year’s edition in Helsinki, Finland’s Capital. That beautiful city is also hailed as global gaming capital in one of the most connected countries in the world.  

Much of the focus of this year’s conference will be on how animation producers can use their creative and business skills to take on new digital ventures but also to make new and innovative programmes with players who are looking for animation content.

At Cartoon Digital, a prestigious line-up of over 30 speakers will come and talk about:

Wesa Aapro THE FINNISH BROADCASTING COMPANY (YLE) (FINLAND)

  Wesa Aapro has been working with various aspects of children’s interactive media for over 10 years. He has designed and developed digital services, games and communities for Finnish children, tweens and teens. Since 2006 he has been working for YLE Finnish Broadcasting Company, focusing on children’s cross-media and transmedia projects.       

Stuart Aitken AXIS ANIMATION (UK)

  Stu Aitken first discovered a love of both the visual arts and computers very early on in life, developing nascent programming skills at home on a “state of the art” 1k sinclair ZX81 home computer. After (mis)spending much of his school career drawing, painting and photographing, Aitken went on to study design at Glasgow School of Art, where he got his first taste of what happened when art and computers came together on early CAD packages and Adobe Photoshop. Being able to make use of both cranial hemispheres appealed immensely. After spending several years at Glasgow’s Digital Animations, Aitken co-founded Axis Animation together with 3 colleagues towards the end of 1999, and has been Lead Artist, CG Supervisor and Project Director on many projects  at Axis since. Currently holding the role of Creative Director, where he is responsible for overall creative strategy and studio output, as well as directing projects for clients, Stu is also involved in helping guide Axis’ technical requirements and general R&D. Since its inception, Axis has gone on to become Scotland’s premiere animation producer and has established a strong global presence, especially in the games and interactive market where the studio is well known for producing some of the most highly regarded Games Trailers and Cinematics worldwide. Axis started up a new VFX division in 2013, expanding its operations into Bristol and London, and is already involved in creating visual effects for various UK based TV productions and films. The main Glasgow studio moved to new custom-built 8,000 sq. ft. premises in March this year. Aitken attributes much of the studio’s success to proactive collaborative client relationships and a strong emphasis on visual storytelling, narrative impact and art direction, where the studio works closely with clients to define a unique and specific visual aesthetic for every job.

Metsämarja Aittokoski SUN IN EYE PRODUCTIONS (FINLAND)

  Metsämarja Aittokoski is a scriptwriter, director, producer and educator, specialised in children’s media and cross-media productions. She is also a mother of three sons (Sarka 12/01, Aarni 11/03 and Ilmari 07/07).         Luis Alis Ferrer NAGAREBOSHI (SPAIN)

  Luis Alis was born in Valencia (Spain) in 1974 and has been passionately interested in comics, animation and videogames all his life. He began to self-study Japanese as a teenager in order to be in direct contact with the world of Japanese manga and anime, contributing to a nationally distributed magazine on the topic. After a brief national TV stint where he directed seminal game and anime programmes, he spent 7 years as Localization Producer for Bandai Namco Games in London and Tokyo, where he worked in the first two games of the “Dynasty Warriors: Gundam” series. Currently he is the CEO of Nagareboshi, a multi-language entertainment localisation and game development company Nagareboshi, and also participates in a joint venture initiative named Rainbow Entertainment to bring Japanese anime to Spain.

Alexandre Boucherot ULULE (FRANCE)

  Before creating Ulule with Thomas Grange, Alexandre Boucherot founded the online cultural magazine “Fluctuat.net” in 1998 (in other words, web prehistory), which was bought by Doctissimo group, itself bought by Lagardère group. He developed, over more than 10 years, an expertise in web publishing, and stays passionate about the new ways of producing and sharing creation, harnessing the power of communities. Convinced that the power of social networks could be crucial for the owners of creative and innovative projects, he launched the crowdfunding platform Ulule.com in 2010. Little more than three years later, more than 4,000 projects have been successfully funded via Ulule.  

Laura Burr AARDMAN ANIMATIONS (UK)

  Laura began her career at Macmillan Children’s Books, where she managed marketing campaigns across the publishing portfolio. This included managing the “Gruffalo” as a publishing brand for over 10 years, during which time it became a publishing phenomenon and was developed by Magic Light Pictures into a successful animation and licensed children’s brand. This insight into the development of the “Gruffalo” was hugely influential on the next step in Laura’s career where she took up her current role as Brand Manager at Aardman Animations.  As a lifelong fan of Aardman, and of “Morph” in particular, Laura was thrilled to be part of the recent successful campaign on Kickstarter to “Bring Back Morph”. As a result, this iconic clay character will star in some brand-new adventures which will premiere on YouTube this summer and will hopefully reach out to a new generation of Morph fans!

Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino DESIGNSWARM (UK)

  Alexandra Deschamps-Sonsino is an Interaction Designer, Product Designer, Entrepreneur & Speaker based in London. She has been building consumer-facing “Internet of Things” products, services and communities since 2006 for clients such as BBC R&D, Nokia, British Gas, EDF, BT and others. She is the founder of the Good Night Lamp, a family of Internet-connected lamps. She was co-founder and CEO of Tinker London, the first distributor of the Arduino platform in the UK that ran workshops around the world and offered design and consultancy services to global clients. She runs the London “Internet of Things” meetup for Xively since 2011. Her work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Victoria & Albert Museum and galleries around the world. She has a B.A.Sc. in industrial design from the Université de Montréal and an M.A. in Interaction Design from the Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.

Nick Dorra ROVIO ENTERTAINMENT (FINLAND)

  Nick is a content executive and animation producer and has been producing animation, events and interactive drama since 1997. Since October 2013 he’s been responsible for content strategy at Rovio. He focuses on the programming strategy of ToonsTV including working on Rovio’s third party content offering and content creator relations. In July 2011 he joined Rovio Entertainment to head up the new in-house animation studio. There he oversaw content development and production for projects attracting over two billion views. Prior to Rovio he worked in a variety of production and consulting roles on animated features and series.

Søren Fleng SYBO GAMES (DENMARK)

  Søren Fleng is an Animation Consultant and Producer. He specialises in the creation and execution of development and production strategies for mobile game companies looking to build a brand around their IP. Søren is best known for producing the “Angry Birds Toons” series for Rovio Entertainment Ltd, the key driver for the launch of Rovio’s in-game channel. The channel got more than two billion views in its first year from release. “Angry Birds Toons” now goes out on 25+ networks around the globe.

  Søren is currently involved in development and strategic planning for the “Subway Surfer” TV series, which is based on the universe and characters from the 400,000,000+ downloads hit game.  

Marc Goodchild SYNCSCREEN.TV (UK)

Frederik Michael Hansen OK MONKEY (DENMARK)

  Frederik Michael Hansen is a Partner and cross-media Consultant at OK Monkey with a special focus on public broadcasters  especially in the Nordic countries. He has 10 years of experience as Producer and Editor at the Danish Broadcast Corporation and was responsible for development of new children’s formats. He is the producer of some of the most popular Danish children’s TV formats and the very popular Danish children’s app, the “Ramasjang” App.

Anttu Harlin GIGGLEBUG ENTERTAINMENT (FINLAND)  Anttu Harlin is the co-founder & CEO of games and animation studio Gigglebug Entertainment. The company’s 

mission is to create fun, original and positive game, story and learning experiences for younger kids.  When Gigglebug Entertainment designs games, the team thinks about evergreen play and learning patterns that 

make kids smile in the real world, and does its best to interpret those experiences for touch screens and TV.  The company’s first app has topped the charts in Finland and China, spreading giggles and winning critical acclaim on 

the way. The simultaneously released Gigglebug TV series has had an exceptional reception for a new series on YLE in Finland and is being currently sold across Europe.

Sulka Haro MAKIELAB (FINLAND)

  Stephen comes from the music industry and has helped to promote and showcase a variety of different artists and entertainers across a wide swath of genres. Stephen has always been on the forefront of technology and how it impacts business and people’s lives in meaningful ways. When the idea for On-Demand Children’s Entertainment was initially conceived, Stephen spearheaded the creation of Toon Goggles, even creating the name “Toon Goggles”. Stephen took the concept of providing child-friendly content to the world as an Over-The-Top solution to the Consumer Electronics Industry and has secured deals with companies such as: Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Samsung, Roku, Dell, and children’s tablet makers.   

Dan Judkins HASBRO (USA)

  With over 15 years in the interactive toy and game space, Dan has observed and been part of the digital revolution in the toy industry. His focus and motivations have always revolved around using technology to create new and different ways to engage consumers, from pre-schoolers to tweens, with playful content in immersive ways. Dan now leads the Integrated Play (iPlay) team at Hasbro Inc. who are breaking new ground in the toy industry with regards to leveraging digital technology (specifically mobile devices) to create and develop deep and engaging play patterns for todays connected kids. Most notably “Furby” and “Furby Boom”, two products that have brought success to Hasbro as well as changed how the company looks at the future of both marketing and developing physical/digital play products.

Irina Krohn THE FINNISH FILM FOUNDATION (SES) (FINLAND)

  Irina Krohn is the Managing Director of The Finnish Film Foundation that supports and promotes the Finnish film industry. Krohn served as a member of the Finnish Parliament from 1995 until her appointment to the Film Foundation in 2006. She has also served on the Administrative Council of the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE and been a member of the City Council of Helsinki. Krohn has a Master’s Degree in Theatre Research from the Theatre Academy Helsinki and has also served on its governing board as well as the board of several other cultural institutions including the Helsinki City Museum. The Finnish Film Foundation allocates public funding to the production, distribution and exhibition of Finnish Film and is also responsible for its international promotion. The Foundation operates under the Ministry of Education and Culture and receives its funding from lottery and pools funds.

Karen Mazurkewich STAGE TEN (CANADA)

  Karen Mazurkewich has spent the past year at Lazar Entertainment raising private investment and developing production partners for Stage TEN, the company’s new interactive live-streaming platform.  Prior to Lazar, she helped with public funding applications for several other interactive companies, and has orchestrated marketing and communication strategies for several iPhone apps. She wrote a seminal report on intellectual property for the Canada International Council in 2011 (a think tank funded by Jim Balsillie), wrote a white paper on entrepreneurship for the University of Waterloo, and has written several books including “Cartoon Capers”, the history of Canadian animation. Karen has also worked as a digital media consultant for the Ontario Media Development Corporation, Brunico Communications and Shaftesbury Films, and worked several years as a Senior Communications Officer for the National Film Board of Canada.  Karen spent almost a decade as a senior writer for the Wall Street Journal and the Financial Post, and was a documentary filmmaker for the Discovery Channel and MTV. She has a vast international network that extends to over 20 countries and knows how to navigate the world of mass media.

Laurent Michaud-Capelli IDATE (FRANCE)

  Laurent is responsible for studies on consumer electronics, digital home, video games, music and related phenomena: changing uses, new uses and devices, technology innovation, piracy, content protection and rights management. Laurent has developed expertise in the field of economic development and investment project engineering. He is also currently involved in studies conducted by IDATE for local authorities and their expression to define development strategies around ICT (Information and Communication Technologies) and CCI (Cultural and Creative Industries). He carries out techno-economic appraisals for innovation agencies and incubators on the issues of video gaming and multimedia content development. He participates in sector-based, market and strategic studies in the areas of ICT, television, Internet and video. He was the originator of Game Summit, which takes place during the Digiworld Summit in November each year (www.gamesummit.pro). Laurent holds a Master’s degree in Economic and Financial Engineering.

Lasse Paananen TEKES (FINLAND)

  Lasse Paananen, MSc, Econ. (Tampere, USA) is a Partner and CEO of Ideone Ltd. Lasse holds also an Advisor, Board Member or other key position in four other companies. Lasse has a strong background in creative industries development, start-ups and business development. Currently he supports Tekes « Feelings » programme as an Activator. “Feelings” programme and Lasse’s duty is to challenge Finnish companies to look for new ways of doing things.     

Petteri Pasanen ANIMA VITAE (FINLAND)

  Petteri Pasanen, CEO of Finnish animation studio Anima Vitae, is best known for producing “Niko 1” (2008) which has been sold to 118 counties, won many awards and was nominated for Best Animation Feature at the European Film Awards. “Niko2 – Little Brother, Big Trouble” (2012), is traveling around the world. He also produced the Cannes Prix du Jury winner “Pizza Passionata” (2001) and is a founding member of Finnanimation (2005), the Finnish animation producers’ association that aims to strengthen long-term international relations and market for Finnish animation.  As a founding partner, he is a chairman of the board of AnimaPoint (2013), joint venture animation studio in Malaysia. He studied at the London International Film School (1991) and made his Pro Gradu thesis on movie marketing at the University of Jyväskylä (1995). 

Kate Pickering CBBC / BBC CHILDREN’S (UK)

  Kate is a Senior Producer at the BBC. She has worked in the broadcast and digital industries for 17 years, across television and online content. Kate currently leads digital content development for CBBC working with drama, factual and entertainment teams to deliver cross platform. On-going projects include: games, video (both linear and interactive), comics, digital toys and native apps.

Ville Rousu UNDO (FINLAND)

  Ville is the Founder/CEO/Producer at Undo Ltd, a CGI studio since 2002. He is also COB at Finnanimation,  the Finnish animation producers’ network. Areas of expert knowledge related to animated feature films: CGI, animation, marketing, games and augmented reality. Currently working on 2 animated series, an animated feature, game and augmented reality solutions with Unity game engine.   

Vicky Schroderus THE FINNISH BROADCASTING COMPANY (YLE) (FINLAND)

  Vicky Schroderus joined YLE, Finnish Broadcasting Company in 1997, where she is currently working as Acquisition Executive for YLE Television. When measured by ratings and audience satisfaction, YLE TV2 is the leading channel for children’s programming in Finland. It transmits annually over 1,000 hours of children’s programming for a 2- to 12-year-old audience.  Vicky is responsible for acquiring over 60% of this volume. In practice this means that she decides and negotiates all the titles. She also oversees the dubbing and programming of the shows. Before the current position at the YLE, Vicky also acquired non-English fiction, music and extreme sports. Before joining YLE, Vicky earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the Turku School of Economics. She started her career at the market research department at Schweitzerische Mobiliar in Switzerland. 

Andriy Shmyhelskyy CARETOSAVE (NETHERLANDS)

  Andriy Shmyhelskyy is a founder of CareToSave (2014, Amsterdam). CareToSave is developing “Bobo Universe”,  to engage kids to save energy. “Bobo Universe” consists of the storybook, glowing polar bear and an app.  Andriy is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company in parallel with concept developments and art direction. He is really passionate about changing the way kids are educated about energy and electricity with a mission to create Heroes in every Home. He has an MSc in innovation and entrepreneurship from the BI Norwegian Business School and a BSc in finance  from the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.  Andriy will present a developing platform for kids’ engagement into energy saving. 

Alessandro Traverso OUTFIT7 (UK)

  Alessandro is responsible for the management of Outfit7 operations and further extending the “Talking Tom and Friends” brand portfolio. This role includes overseeing strategic planning, content development and monetisation, plus marketing and brand management. Alessandro joined the company in March 2013 from HIT Entertainment, where as Senior Vice President of commercial development he was responsible for leading all commercial strategic initiatives across the company’s brand portfolio, television channels and joint venture investments, including “Mike the Knight” and “Bob the Builder”. He holds a Masters degree in Robotics from the University of Genoa as well as an MBA from the London Business School.

Liisa Vähäkylä FINNANIMATION (FINLAND)

  Liisa Vähäkylä has been working as Managing Director of Finnanimation, the network of Finnish animation producers, since September 2009. Before that she had made her career in journalism and marketing communications. She has an MA degree from the University of Jyväskylä, Finland. Thereafter she studied animation at Goldsmiths University of London, and new media at Aalto-University. In Finnanimation, Vähäkylä has built Finland-Asia relationships as well as proposed many educational initiatives.    

Alison Warner TECHNICOLOR DIGITAL PRODUCTIONS (UK)

  Alison Warner is the Vice President of I.P. sales, acquisitions and co-productions for Technicolor Digital Productions based out of London. In this role, Alison develops and implements sales strategies for TDP’s in-house animated properties and actively sources new European properties to acquire or co-produce. In this role, she was part of the team that helped put Technicolor’s first animated show “Atomic Puppet” into production with partners Mercury Filmworks and Gaumont Animation. In addition, Alison is developing new and maintaining existing client relationships within Europe for the animation and gaming business at Technicolor. Prior to joining Technicolor, Warner served over five years as VP, European sales for Cookie Jar Entertainment Inc, where she was responsible for the distribution of Cookie Jar content across the UK and Northern Europe. 

Annalisa Woods INK GLOBAL (DENMARK)

  With many years experience in branding and brand development, Annalisa is a dedicated and skilled brand extension professional; passionate about creating and implementing relevant category extension strategies to drive brand awareness, revenue, and further enrich the brand story.  Nurturing her passion for superb children’s content, Annalisa began her career at HarperCollins Publishers as the Brand Executive responsible for the strategic development of C.S. Lewis’ “The Chronicles of Narnia” as these literary works were adapted for the big screen.  Following this, Annalisa worked as Marketing Executive for branded and licensed children’s books. Here she set about developing and executing marketing campaigns for the publishing programs relating to some of the best-known children’s animation series and brands including “Roary the Racing Car”, “Transformers” and “Hello Kitty”.  Now living and working in Copenhagen, Annalisa is the Senior Brand Manager at Ink Global.

  Christophe Erbes was born in 1963 in Paris and studied Mathematics, Telecommunications Science and Economics. After some scientific research in Montreal, he worked for Canal+ International in Paris. He was then responsible for the kids and short films department at Premiere (now SKY Deutschland) in Hamburg before becoming Head of Programmes at S-RTL / Disney in Cologne. After being Deputy Managing Director and Head of Programmes of Nickelodeon Germany, he was Managing Director at Jetix (now DISNEY XD) in Madrid, London and Munich. He lives in Marcousin (Dordogne) and is an international Media Consultant focusing on children content strategies, sits on few boards (Stuttgart Animation Festival, German Kids Film Association) and regularly hosts media festivals and podium discussions. He develops and writes for original and classic TV and film properties for children and, under his pseudonym Theo de Marcousin, he is a successful kids books’ author: see e.g. – and maybe like?! –  “Oscar & Hoo” on Facebook.

Reetta Ranta NEW.ME (FINLAND)

  Reetta Ranta is a creative professional with broad experience in digital media, family & kids/youth content, brand management and product development. She has worked with several Finnish and international brands and companies, being part of their digital change and new business position. She considers herself as visionary minded, a creative problem solver and team leader, who enjoys working with strategic planning, product development and new ideas and concepts. Reetta is also a mother of two boys, with whom she enjoys playing, reading and wandering in nature. Her main hobby is to follow her heart and passion and create projects, products and/or companies around her dreams. Reetta has worked for several start ups and media companies, e.g. as Brand Director at Sulake, Head of New Media Development at Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, and as Country Manager at Rabbit Films, working with mostly kids, family and youth content (“Habbo Hotel”, “Pikku Kakkonen”, “The Dudesons”, to name a few). Nowadays she runs her own wellbeing company New.me, coaches individuals and companies, runs a radio show for kids at Finnish radio station Basso, is writing her first movie script and studying shamanistic healing techniques. Furthermore, she is a volunteer worker and a member of the executive board at Women’s Bank charity organization. She has studied at the Aalto University, University of Helsinki, University of Jyväskylä and The Centre of Finnish Shamanism. Reetta holds an MA degree in New Media and she is a certified coach (The International Coaching Certification of WeCreate).
