2) Enter your Burlington English user name and password.

3) Click on “log in”

Step 2: Choose skill (Reading or Listening)

Step 3: Choose Mode (Practice or Test)

Number of questions


Students have the option to listen to questions multiple times.


Click on “check” to see if question was answered correctly

Note: If student moves to next question without checking answer, he/she cannot go back and check answer.


If the answer was incorrect, student can get a hint or try again

Note: Student has two attempts to answer question correctly


If student chooses hint, program will play the audio again and display the passage in writing, highlighting the sections the student needs to pay attention to.


Student can end the test at any time.


Student will receive this message when ending test


Student receives score at end of test. Click OK. Then click on menu to return to menu screen.


Click on test date line to review test


Same process is used for Reading


Note: Student will receive this message if he/she tries to exit to menu without ending test


Reading test must be completed in specified time
