Engineer A is employed by a large industrial company

Engineer A advised his superiors by memorandum of problems he found with certain submissions of one of the subcontractors.

Management rejected the comments of Engineer A because of excessive cost and time delays.

Management placed him on three months' probation, with notice of that he might lose his job.

Engineer A has continued to insist that his employer had an obligation to ensure of the public safety.

He has requested an ethical review and determination of the propriety of his course of action.

Does Engineer A have an ethical obligation, or an ethical right, to continue his efforts to secure change in the policy of his employer under these circumstances, or to report his concerns to proper authority?

For every individual ethics are a good way to distinguish between right and wrong in their own personal life.

Ethics can be a set of certain rules made by an individual for the self and is to be followed by the self to make the individual's life easier.

Ethical responsibilities are outlined by ethical rules. These responsibilities must be followed in order to have a good living standards.

Ethics just make the individual obligated by his/her principles.

Morals have always been taken wrongly and and been confused with ethics.

Morals are a set of rules made among a group of people such as society.

Morals are the rules that are accepted by the majority of people in the group .

We all have moral obligations towards each other and the society.

Engineers must make sure of the safety and the health of the public and shall strive with principles of the developments in their professional duties.

If an engineer sees a problem, must inform their client as well as his/her management of the possible problems.

This is a moral responsibility of the engineer and part of his/her job duty.

It could also be his ethical responsibility based on his personal principles.

They need to avoid any potential of conflict between each other.

The engineer must not include his/her personal interests on any matter at work.

This engineer must follow his/her moral rules and job duties whether he/she has this as part of his/her ethical rule and should think of the safety of the public affair and welfare first before anything else.

If the engineer sees that someone does not pay attention to the public safety must let the higher authority know about the situation.

The engineer should make sure that no issues or arguments come up with the interested parties, clients, or the management.

The engineer followed his moral responsibilities and job duties.

He led the management know potential problems they might be facing in the future and even tried to fix them.

It is a moral responsibility of an engineer to make sure no arguments come up.

It is the engineer’s moral responsibility to let the higher authority know in writing about the situation even if he/she might loses his/her job.

This way he/she is stopping the potential conflict between himself/herself and the management but will also stick to his/her moral responsibilities and the job duties and will help to improve the public safety and the welfare.
