was stolen from the Phoenix Art Museum at some point yesterday as the museum is closed on Mondays.

0Curator of the museum Linda Strauss was conducting her usual walk about the gallery this morning in preparation for a staff meeting which was to take place at 11am today. During this walk through she noticed the painting missing from the wall.

0This painting is valued at 5.5 million dollars at auction.
