SER introduced a candidate to their client and the candidate was interviewed. Feedback on the interview was that the candidate was not strong enough for the role. Three weeks later SER discovered the candidate working for their client in a more junior role. Gary Bentley, the MD of SER contacted the hiring company many times over a two month period and was being stonewalled by them. He was spending too much time and energy on this and was frustrated. He believed he would have to go down the long, time consuming and expensive legal route to get the fee due to him. Aware of the Nforce service they wasted no time and called them in to resolve the situation. Once Nforce had examined the terms of business in place and satisfied themselves that there was a good case they began gathering the evidence needed to recover the fees. ROC introduced a candidate to a large insurer and he was telephone interviewed for a permanent position. He wasn’t taken on for that job but three months later was engaged by the client as a contractor. ROC tried to enforce the payment of an introduction fee themselves. Over two and a half months they spoke to the client’s HR manager, HR Director and two line managers. The client insisted that no fee was due and Conor Roughneen, founder of ROC, was spending time on this issue that could be better invested in other areas of his business and getting nowhere.
