• IK is a 75 year old female.

• 68 year history of psoriasis.

• I first saw patient in 2007.

ULCERATIVE COLITIS CASE STUDY

• DM is 18 years old. • Presents with 6 months of acute, severe

• Still having 2-3 bloody stools per days down from 15-20. Patient was emaciated in 6 months had lost 30 lbs (13.5 kgs).

bloody stools had stopped. • Day 4 had normal BM. • Day 7 Mum decides to postpone

• CR is a 29 year old female. • 3 year history of ulcerative colitis

CLOSTRIDIUM DIFFICILE INFECTION

RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS

• LF is a 66 year old female. • 10 year history Irritable Bowel Syndrome. • 8 year history of Rheumatoid Arthritis that

Labs: • Over the years Rheumatoid Factor has moved

between 40-60 (below 20 is normal) • Sed rate on 3 different occasions was between

70-110 (0-29 is normal) from 2010-2014. • C-reactive protein has always been around 3.


• According to the Rheumatologist LF’s RA was under control.

• Symptoms were rare and mild. • However if LF was in anyway

active she had an increase in pain that usually lasted a few days.
