independent care provider. The facility has 182
beds in total with Secure Access and 24 Hour
Emergency Call.
The aged care facility accomodates some of the
more vulnerable and less robust members of
the community and lighting had to be
appropriate to a range of uses and
requirements. The organisation’s goals were to
dramatically improve the quality of light for
residents and staff, save money on energy costs
and reduce their environmental impact. These
goals had to be achieved in a 24/7 operational
and residential environment so planning to
