SituationForeverNutraceutical,anutrition,vitaminandweightlossproductmanufacturer,requiredanextremelyhardandindestructiblefloorcoatingforitsmanufacturingspace.Duetothenatureofitsbusiness,ForeverNutraceuticaldidnotwanttoriskmoisturecontrolproblemswhichwouldstallmanufacturing.ARDEXSalesRepresentativeLanceNeffrecommendedARDEXMC™ULTRAMoistureControlSystembecauseofitsunmatchedperformanceandwarranty.Theinstallationspacewaslocatedinanoldbuildingwithnovaporbarrierbelowtheconcrete.Therewerealsoverylargesectionsofexistingconcretethatneededtoberemovedandre-pouredatagreaterthickness.Othersectionsofconcretewereremovedandreplacedsoaninsulatedslabcouldreceivelarge on-grade,walk-incoolers.

SolutionTheprojectwassecuredbyunmatchedpersistence.InstallersweregivendirectaccesstoARDEXTechnical Representative Tim Ellison as on-site technical support. Samples were placed in conjunction with the finished high-buildepoxyquartzfloorforevaluation.ARDEXMCULTRAallowedforquickturnaroundwithnewconcrete sectionsandpour-backs.TheARDEXMCULTRAofferedasand-broadcastsurfaceforadirectbondofthe epoxy floor.

ARDEXMCULTRAwasnottheonlyproductbeingconsidered.Itwas,however,theonlyproductwiththe performancetoallowforaquickinstallationofthefinishfloordirectlybonded.TheForeverNutraceuticalownerwassoldonthesolid,non-proratedwarranty.BoththeownerandT&MCreationswereimpressedwiththe availability,confidenceandquickresponsefromARDEXSalesandTechnicalRepresentatives.Otherhigh-buildtrowelonproductswereoffered,butnonecouldmatchtheoverallperformance,speedofinstallationandlocalsupportofARDEXAmericas.
