What is IPL? Palomar StarLux 300 IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) is used to help in the removal of unwanted hair and to treat vascular and pigmented lesions. IPL is an advanced light therapy technology that targets melanin, the pigment found in skin and hair.The pulsed light is absorbed by the skin, travels into the skin and hair follicle and destroys the cells so that re-growth is not possible. Large areas can be treated in a very short time, with minimal discomfort compared to other hair removal methods. You can typically return to your daily activities with little to no redness or discomfort. The treated hairs will fall out over a period of1-2 weeks, depending on the area treated, leaving the skin feeling smooth and hair-free for weeks. Six to eight treatments are generally required for permanent results with maintenance treatments to maintain results. Treatments are usually 4-8 weeks apart. The initial consultation with our qualified IPL technician will provide you with all the information you need and answer any questions that you may have.

What is Selectif Pro Hair Removal?

Selectif Pro Hair Removal System uses the latest proven European Ultrasonic Hair Removal Technology. It is the industry's first clinically proven ultrasound based hair removal technology. It enables the pain free treatment of sensitive areas such as the upper lip, chin, underarms, bikini line and precise eyebrow shaping. Treatments are safe and free of side-effects. Results are irrespective of hair colour and skin tone, allowing the therapist to treat white, grey, light blonde, strawberry and even orange hairs, as well as tanned skin. Selectif Pro is also used to complement IPL Hair Removal. This means we use IPL on large areas, then Selectif Pro to treat unwanted single hairs that may not have been removed by IPL.

Selectif Pro Ultrasound Hair Removal:White, grey, blonde or dark hair, as well as tanned skin, is no longer a limitation for long term hair reduction.
