We’re committed to quality at every point of the brewing process; from the raw ingredients we use to the designs on our bottles - we want to brew the best beer that Wales has to offer.
We’re not limiting ourselves in terms of brewing style either. While the Glamorgan Brewing Company will continue to brew traditional British cask ales for years to come, we’re also hugely excited about re-invigorating some continental styles which are blandly brewed by the global super-breweries.
For the moment we’re brewing two headline-grabbing fizzy keg beers alongside our stellar range of cask ales & seasonal brews. They’re all made of Glamorgan. Drink it in.

Caledonian Brewery was founded in 1869 in Shandon, Edinburgh. The brewery produces award-winning Deuchars IPA, Flying Scotsman, Edinburgh Castle, Three Hop and Coast to Coast throughout the year, as well as monthly and seasonal ales. Since its founding the Caley has been renowned for creating some of the world’s finest beers and its pioneering spirit has ensured that this is a brewery never content to rest on its laurels. In July 2015, Caledonian unveiled their pilot brewery which aims to drive beer innovation through the flexibility of its smaller brew runs. Affectionately known as Wee George after the brewery’s founding father, the new equipment is being used to develop both new and existing recipes on site.

Harvest Pale is brewed with a gently-kilned malt, and an aromatic blend of American hops added during the brewing process gives this 3.8% alc pale beer exceptional poise. Its distinct hop flavour leads to a crisp finish.
Brewed to the traditional East Midlands style, Preservation is a mid-brown/reddish easy-drinking full-flavoured best bitter. Well-rounded with some residual sweetness which is balanced with a resinous hop character. A hugely popular beer that deserves to be savoured!
Elsie Mo’s name is derived from the low colour Maris Otter malt from which she’s exclusively brewed, and which gives her that tantalising golden hue. A blend of hops – Challenger predominating – tempts you with its aroma and leaves a pleasantly crisp aftertaste.
A well-balanced dark mild ale with some bitterness, full-bodied, but not overly sweet. An award-winning mild that delivers a light fresh taste to one of the more traditional of beer styles.

This is an English ale with hoppy, citrus undertones balanced with bitterness and a light sweetness. It has an aroma that is packed with soft fruit notes and a clean, moreish finish.
Greene King IPA is a perfectly balanced ale, characterised by its fresh, hoppy taste and clean, bitter finish. This hoppy taste and aroma come from two varieties of English hops – Challenger and First Gold – which are combined with pale and crystal malts. A great beer to enjoy with curry, Mexican and other spicy food, or simply on its own.
Hailed by the late beer writer Michael Jackson as “one of the great characters of the beer world”, Abbot Ale is brewed for quality of the highest order. Abbot is an irresistible ale with masses of fruit characters, a malty richness and superb hop balance. It is brewed longer to a unique recipe, which makes it the full-flavoured, smooth and mature beer it is today.
Old Speckled Hen has a full, smooth flavour and is very easy to drink. Its rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty tastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness, followed by a refreshingly dry finish.
