The Belmont clan has been feuding with Dracula and evil since the 11th century when the Dark Prince’s story began. The long-winded battles’ origin began with Leon Belmont, originally. It was re-written in the 21st century (less than 20 years after the original introduction in 1986) to star Gabriel Belmont who has become the manifestation of Leon Belmont, Matthias Cronqvist, and Walter Bernhard (who in that storyline, was absorbed by Matthias). While noting the re-writing of the story, this infographic captures the timeline of the main characters appearances within the Castlevania canon. It also features the names of those who led in the production of the artwork, whether they be artists, designers, or producers alongside the titles that have arisen from the less than 20 year span of the Castlevania franchise. As the timeline of the sequential titles place the characters outside of the natural order of their descendancy, a family tree is also presented inside of this infographic.

find pieces of the book, The Grimoire, to return peace to the world.

Gabriel Belmony is the very first Belmont who travels into hell to

fight off Satan but becomes the dark prince, Dracula, in the process.

Gabriel Belmony (now known as Dracula) fights his son Trevor and ultimately transforms him into Alucard. He grows tired of his new form

and seeks peace...

Dracula schemes up a plan to rid the world of the greater evils alongside his son, Alucard. After

over 1000 years wandering the Earth, he finally seeks to pass on into oblivion...

Morris Baldwin stavedoff Dracula with Nathan’s father in the past. He hands down the Vampire

Killer to Nathan to defend humanity from Dracula once more.

Reinhardt was often teased for being a Belmont, so he decided to change his name.

Yet the Belmont blood lends strength towards his quest against Dracula.

The first and only female Belmont to face and defeat Dracula. She was written off

of the official story canon and placed in an alternate timeline.

The son of Dracula who believes in and fights for mankind against

his father.

Known as possibly the strongest Belmont, ever. He succesfully defeats Dracula and

then disappears shortly afterwards.

Gabriel Belmont’s son. He is feared for his supernatural powers and is

ostracized because of it.

The son of Quincy Morris and the son of Maria Renard (John and Eric,

respectively) face off with Dracula’s niece, Elizabeth Bartley.

HE faced Dracula 100 years after Trevor Belmont and 100 years

before Simon Belmont
