OKSOL-150 is an integrated solar collector
that uses thermal solar power to
produce Domestic Hot Water.
The absorber, the forced recirculation
system and a DHW storage tank holding
150 litres of water are all included in
one single element. It uses photovoltaic
solar technology to supply the
recirculating pump®, making it a totally
independent system with no external power
requirements.
SOLAR SYSTEM WITH
INTEGRATED OKSOL-150 TANK
HOW DOES IT WORK?When solar radiation falls on
the collector, the collector
concentrates the heat and
transfers it to the heat-carrying
fluid circulating inside it. Its cover
shape and selective treatment
enable the whole surface of the
fluid-filled heat-carrying collector
to be made use of. As a result,
the solar radiation reaches
both the heat-carrying fluid and
the photovoltaic panel, which
generates electricity, causing the
recirculating pump to run and
the hot fluid to be conveyed to
the inside of the heat exchanger.
The heat is transferred from the
collector to the tank by means
of the pump controlled by the
photovoltaic panel and the heat
exchanger. On sunny days the tank
will heat up to maximum storage
temperature of 95ºC.

INDIRECT HEAT EXCHANGE SOLAR KIT
HOW DOES IT WORK?This kit regulates the recirculation
inlet to the home from the circuit
previously heated by the solar
collector. If the kit detects that
a tap has been turned on and
hot water is required, the flow
to the heat exchanger is opened
to preheat the domestic water
inlet. When the hot water tap is
turned off, the 3-way valve opens
the bypass again and shuts off
the flow to the heat exchanger.
The shut-off valves allow the
central recirculation system to be
completely blocked off at all the
inlets.
The indirect heat exchange solar kit is
designed for centralised solar heating
installations with distributed back-up
power. Each home has an individual back-up
power source and its own interior distribution
circuit supplying domestic water.
You may complete the totally regulated
installation with the solar domestic
water kit
