NEW PRODUCTS AND POLICY CHANGES

NEW DIGITAL ARCHIVE COLLECTIONSOSA Publishing is pleased to announce two new Digi-tal Archive options.

The Centennial Archive package includes all content published by OSA since the inception of its publish-ing program in 1917. When purchasing this archive, your patrons will have perpetual access to more than 144,000 journal articles and conference proceedings. See page 15 for more details. The OSA Digital Archive 2 package extends the article coverage of the original OSA Digital Archive by add-ing perpetual access to 36,000 additional journal and conference proceeding articles published between 2006 and 2015. See page 15 for more details.

NEW E-COMBINATION PACKAGESOSA Publishing is launching two new E-Combination packages (E-Combo 3 and 4) to provide subscribers of our core titles (AO, JOSA A, JOSA B,and OL) with a convenient way to add OSA’s popular review journal, Advances in Optics and Photonics (AOP) to their holdings. See page 13 for more details.

CHANGES TO OSA BACKFILE POLICYEffective 1 January 2017, OSA is changing its policy on access to its journal backfile content. As part of this change, subscribers to any of OSA’s Print plus Online Combination, E-Combination, and Optics InfoBase packages will continue to receive free access to the full backfile for each title in the package.

For those organizations subscribing to individual OSA titles, free access to the last 10 years of content will be available as part of a purchase of any single title, and there will be an option to add full backfile access for each single title subscribed to for a mod-est fee. Additional details about this change are available online at https://www.osapublishing.org/library/2017backfilepolicy.

Access the largest collection of peer-reviewed optics and photonics content via OSA Publishing’s Digital Library—which contains more than 300,000 articles from 17 journals and OSA’s flagship magazine, as well as the proceedings from more than 550 conferences.

x LEGACY.Celebrating 100 years of service to the field of optics and photonics, The Optical Society (OSA) is the home for scientists, engineers, students, and entrepreneurs who fuel discoveries, shape real-life applications and accelerate achievements in the science of light. Since 1916, OSA has provided quality research, inspired interactions and dedi-cated resources to its global network of optics and photonics experts.

x MOST ARTICLES AND CITATIONS.OSA is proud that its collection of flagship, part-nered, and co-published peer-reviewed journals continue to receive the most citations (42%) and provide the most articles (35%) to the field of op-tics and photonics.(Thomson Reuters, 2015 Journal Citation Reports).

x HIGHEST-QUALITY.Scientists regularly turn to the content published by OSA Publishing to meet their research needs. High-quality, rigorous peer review is the corner-stone of our publishing program, and it is strictly maintained under the guidance of expert editors and reviewers. Since 1916, OSA has been publish-ing seminal research in the field, including the findings of thought leaders, Nobel Prize winners, and inventors who have changed the technologi-cal landscape of optics and photonics.

x GLOBAL REACH.Uniting over 270,000 professionals from 177 countries, OSA brings together the global optics and photonics community through its publishing program. Our articles come from authors around the world, and our content is widely available through a worldwide network of institutions and OSA’s robust Open Access program.
