Material



MATERIAL

We understand it is not only how it looks like, but also how it feels like. Among hundreds of stainless steels, we have chosen SAE 316 as the standard material for pressel plates. Not only is it the second most common stainless steel but also the preferred one with greater resistance to corrosion and oxidization, thus having an extended life cycle in general compared to SAE 304, the alternative material.

Safety is always one of the main factors for every design. Therefore, we have carefully selected a V0 rating polycarbonate as for the mould material which provides the huge advantage of flame retardation, correspondingly increasing the safety factor of the push buttons.


Different numbers of LEDs bring out different luminous intensities. From years of experience, we have found out 4 and 8 LEDs would fit most design intents and offer the optimum balance in illuminating the pressel plates (See fig. 1-2). Typical properties of LED are shown in Table 1-2.
