Superior design features in the new
Case 400 Series Skid Steers reflect
the longstanding Case commitment
to customer values such as low cost
of ownership, outstanding operatorcomfort and productivity.
Low cost of ownership
The 400 Series Skid Steers are
designed to save you time and
money. Built tough to handle the
day-to-day action on any work site,
smart design features like a flexing
unitized chassis and loader arms that
are supported by the frame maximize
VALUABLE PARTNERS IN ANY OPERATION
durability. Hydraulic pumps
coupled directly to the engine help
prevent power loss and costly belt
maintenance. The industry-exclusive,
easy-tilt ROPS ensures that theseunits are both cost-effective and easy
to maintain, contributing to a low
cost of ownership.
Operator comfort
Low-effort servo-hydrostatic controls
and optional Ride Control, an
industry first, combine to reduce
fatigue. Unobstructed visibility to
the bucket, tires and curb line, and
other features such as optional
push-button activation of auxiliary
hydraulics and a foot throttle, make
operation even easier. Optional heat
and air conditioning give superiorcomfort in any weather.
Productivity
Finish your jobs more quickly
and efficiently than ever with the
400 Series. The low-effort servo-
hydrostatic controls, and an extensive
selection of heavy-duty buckets and
Rezloh edges, promise faster cycle
times. Optional Ride Control lets
you travel faster while improving
material retention. And the easy tilt
ROPS features no-tool, 10-second

400 Series
Designed with a Power Reach
vertical heavy-lift loader linkage, the
435, 445 and 465 offer the industrys
highest lift capacity. Easily lift heavy
pallets of brick or large bales, then
precisely load trailers or trucks.
Maximum reach at
lower heights
The Power Reach design on the 435,
445 and 465 gives you maximum
reach at any height, making it easier
to place loads on trailers. Plus, the
design maintains maximum reach all
the way to full height, helping you
load into the middle of high-sided
dump trucks.
Hydraulic self-leveling
option improves
material retention
For greater productivity levels, add
the hydraulic self-leveling option. It is
available on all models (except the
450, which has mechanical self-
leveling as standard equipment).
With the hydraulic self-leveling
feature, the bucket maintains a level
position while the loader arms are
raised, for faster cycle times.
LOADER ARM DESIGN VERTICAL LIFT 435, 445, 465
Designed for long life
The durable 435, 445 and 465 hold
up under the twisting forces of
heavy-duty digging. The patented
4-point linkage uses the chassis to
support the loader arms when in the
digging position, reducing stress.
For superior integrity, Case 400
Series Skid Steers feature straddle-
mounted pins and bushings to
provide uniform support
4
and strength to the loader arms.
Competitive models with cantilevered
pins allow excessive bushing wear
and side-to-side play, causing stress
that leads to wear fatigue.
The 400 Series design enables
longer machine life in heavy-dutyapplications with demanding
attachments such as tree spades
and cold planers.

LOADER ARM DESIGN RADIAL LIFT 450
The Power Cycle radial linkage
loader arm design on the Case 450
Skid Steer Loader provides the
fastest loader cycle on the market
and allows excellent digging and
material handling capabilities. Brute
strength, and sturdy construction of
the durable unitized chassis, offers
plenty of power to dig, cut grade or
push piles. Whether youre running a
trencher, backhoe or hammer,
the linkage design of the
450 Skid Steer is up to
the challenge.
Mechanical self-leveling
A cast bucket link with a top-
mounted cylinder features a single
pivot point that allows faster raise, lower, rollback and dump times.
Thanks to its unique loader linkage
design, mechanical two-way self-
leveling is standard on the 450,
which means more material stays in
the bucket. It is also easier to position
attachments for greater versatility
and productivity. The 450 has a
124.5-in. (3.16-m) hinge pin height,
making it ideal for material-handling
tasks such as dumping into high-
sided trucks.
