The cry ogenic v alve des ign includ ing the extended bonnet allows for the pipe insulation of the body. The distance of the packing from the service temperature has been increased to minimise the risk for fugitive emissions. Vane ssa cryoge nic valves are ty pe approval tested according to Shell Tec. High Temperature Valves Idea l when the temp erature range raises up to +600°, since it allows for valve body insulation. The exte nded bonnet help s mainta in the packing operating temperature at normal levels. The packing i s therefore distanced from the hot medium, and this highly reduces any risk for fugitive emissions. The act uator r emains p rotected from extremely high line temperature. The r eliability of the va lve perf ormance is guaranteed by the appropriate high temperatu re materials selection. Jacketed Valves T o prevent any fluid crysta llisation. The heat diffused by valve body jacke t reaches all the critical areas, in particular the valve seat and the bearings area. The jacke ted va lve is manufactur ed in the double flanged body style.  Vane ssa recommends the insta llation of double flanged style with long face- to-face, which magnifies the heating action. Technical data Pr es sure Rati ngs : fr om ANSI /ASME 150 to 900. Body materia ls : carbon, alloy and stainless steels, duplex steels, special alloys.  T emperatur e (°C) : Cryogenic down to -254°C, High temp. up to 800°C, Jacketed up to +450°C. Sizes (mm) : from 80 to 1650 and larger. General application Cryogenic configuration is ideal for any application involving media at very low temperatures, such as LNG, LPG, liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen.  The high temper ature configura tion is widely used in oil and gas processing, power and chemical fields, usually for services involving hot gases and steam.  The jacketed con figuration is targeted to usage in sulphur recovery units, and in any application with high fluid crystallisation risk.  A †@çô INTERNATIONAL LTD. The Vanessa Series 30,000 is manufactured indifferent configurations to satisfy various servicerequirements.

FeaturesCryogenic Valves A cryogenic valve suitable to stand

temperatures down to -254C. The cryogenic valve design including

the extended bonnet allows for thepipe insulation of the body. Thedistance of the packing from theservice temperature has beenincreased to minimise the risk forfugitive emissions.

Vanessa cryogenic valves are typeapproval tested according to Shell Tec.Spec. no. T-2.253.730, up to ANSIclass 600.

All valves are tested in the fullyequipped facilities for cryogenic testingat Vanessa plant (up to DN 66).

High Temperature Valves Ideal when the temperature range

raises up to +600, since it allows forvalve body insulation.

The extended bonnet helps maintainthe packing operating temperature atnormal levels. The packing is thereforedistanced from the hot medium, andthis highly reduces any risk for fugitiveemissions.

The actuator remains protected fromextremely high line temperature.

The reliability of the valve performanceis guaranteed by the appropriate hightemperature materials selection.

Jacketed Valves To prevent any fluid crystallisation. The heat diffused by valve body jacket

reaches all the critical areas, inparticular the valve seat and thebearings area.

The jacketed valve is manufactured inthe double flanged body style.Vanessa recommends the installationof double flanged style with long face-to-face, which magnifies the heatingaction.

Technical dataPressure Ratings : from ANSI/ASME

150 to 900. Body materials : carbon, alloy and

    stainless steels,duplex steels,special alloys.

    Temperature (C) : Cryogenic downto -254C,High temp. up to800C, Jacketedup to +450C.

Sizes (mm) : from 80 to 1650and larger.

General applicationCryogenic configuration is ideal for anyapplication involving media at very lowtemperatures, such as LNG, LPG,liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen. The high temperature configuration iswidely used in oil and gas processing, power and chemical fields, usually forservices involving hot gases andsteam. The jacketed configuration is targetedto usage in sulphur recovery units, andin any application with high fluidcrystallisation risk.
