Vizz conquers any situation by combining two beam profiles into a

compact, self-contained light. One Maxbright LED provides a long-

throw, bright white spot beam with choice of high and low modes.

Four white Ultrabright LEDs provide a flood beam for up close work

and wider viewing angle. 3 AAA Alkaline batteries are included.

Regulated circuitry makes for consistent power output over battery

lifespan. Vizz is also lithium compatible for reliable operation in a

wider temperature range. This headlamp also has a built-in battery

power meter. As with all of PTEC Pro Series headlamps, Vizz

provides waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes,

equivalent to IEC IPX7 rating.

Vizz is the newest member of the Professional Series. Vizz conquers any

situation by combining three beam profiles into a compact, self-contained

light. One Maxbright LED provides a long-throw, bright white spot beam.

Two white Ultrabright LEDs provide close-range flood beam. These LEDs

are dimmable so users can choose the exact output for their needs. Two

red Ultrabright LEDs provide a close-range flood beam while preserving

night adjusted vision and keeping a low profile. 3 AAA Alkaline batteries are

included. Regulated circuitry makes for consistent power output over battery

lifespan. Vizz is also lithium compatible for reliable operation in a wider

temperature range. This headlamp also has a built-in battery power meter.

As with all of PTEC Pro Series headlamps, Vizz provides waterproof integrity

Intrinsically safe. The EOS® II is designed and constructed to meet

the most rigorous of demands both in application and environment.

The head unit is self contained, waterproof, and constructed of

high grade materials. The technology inside offers the best in long

burntimes and utilizes advanced circuitry that regulates the output

providing superior and constant brightness on two modes. The

Maxbright LED puts out 80 Lumens and a spot beam that reaches

as far as 60 meters. The EOS® II is powered by 3 AAA batteries

The kit includes EOS® Industrial head unit with a nylon headstrap and a rubber helmet strap.


The EOS headlamp utilizes the same design and construction as

the EOS® II, but in meeting the requirements of UL Div. 1 Cl 2.

The EOS® offers high, medium, low and flash output modes. The

EOS® uses a Maxbright LED that allows for the beam to spot at

distances. By using a Princeton Tec designed optic, the EOS®

provides a clean beam pattern that is great for both localized needs

as well as spotting a target as far as 60 meters away. Powered by

3 AAA batteries, the EOS® is compact, self contained and versatile.

It includes a rubber strap for hard hat use along with industrial 3M

Dual LockTM and a nylon strap for use as a standard headlamp.

At a mere 96 grams, the Quad® is the lightest in Princeton Tec’s

line of regulated-LED headlamps. 4 Ultrabright LEDs power

through the darkest conditions. The LEDs are safe forever inside

a tough waterproof housing that will survive severe impacts and

water submersions up to 1 meter. Weight conscious users will

appreciate the Quad’s sophisticated circuitry that allows the use of

lithium AAA batteries. They reduce the Quad’s weight to 82 grams,

perform in extremely cold temperatures, and significantly increase

regulated burn times on all modes. Equipped with regulated LEDs

that maintain constant brightness and a battery power meter, this

The brightest headlamp in our professional series, Apex has been

a favorite of extreme outdoorsmen and cavers for years. The

pinnacle of waterproof LED headlamp design, Apex incorporates

a single Regulated Maxbright LED plus four Regulated Ultrabright

LEDs. Apex is capable of a powerful spot beam or a bright flood,

Swerve® attaches to the rear of a hard hat to ensure visibility. The

light has two modes – flash and constant – providing options for any

jobsite situation. With a large toggle switch to select constant, strobe,

We contoured the body to fit your hand naturally, reducing or eliminating fatigue during extended use by minimizing the amount of effort necessary to securely grip the light. The result is one of the most comfortable, easiest to grip handhelds available. The large switch is easy to use even while wearing gloves. The lock prevents accidental turn-on and battery drain in your gear bag as well as accidental turn-off while in tight quarters. BATTERY POWER METERThe battery power meter provides you with continuous feedback on the condition of the batteries, indicating high, medium or low battery life. This information allows you to make educated decisions about changing batteries or packing spare batteries.

BEAM DISTANCEPrinceton Tec measures beam distance as the distance from the light source at which the light emitted is greater than 0.25 lumens, which is about the amount of light that is cast by a full moon on a clear night.

BURN TIME / LIGHT DURATIONPrinceton Tec measures burn time as the total time that the light source produces a minimum of 0.25 lux at 2 meters. 0.25 lux is about the amount of light that is cast by a full moon on a clear night.

HEATSINK TECHNOLOGYPrinceton Tec has developed proprietary ultralight heatsinks to protect LED products from overheating. Even though LEDs operate at much lower temperatures than traditional incandescent bulbs, they still generate heat. If this heat is not dissipated, the LED will suffer irreversible damage. By using heatsinks, Princeton Tec lights can

burn at extreme brightness levels for long periods of time. The heatsink may be incorporated internally or externally depending on the product and its application.

HALOGEN AND XENON INCANDESCENT BULBSHALOGEN BULBS work in exactly the same way as traditional incandescent bulbs found in your home with one major difference: they contain halogen gas instead of nitrogen or argon. This difference allows the bulb to burn brighter, more efficiently, and for longer periods of time. The bulb needs to be replaced less frequently since

They have been testing products for public safety for more than a century. In order for a product to bear the certified UL Mark, it must pass all UL requirements

at their testing facility. LED OPTIC COLLIMATORA collimator gathers all available light from an LED in the form of scattered rays and re-emits the light as parallel rays, making it more optically efficient than a standard reflector. LEDLight emitting diodes, commonly called LEDs, are illuminated by the movement of electrons in a semiconductor material. Unlike ordinary incandescent bulbs, LEDs are ex-tremely efficient, don’t have a filament that will burn out, and virtually last forever. LEDs are small, lightweight, and encased in a hard epoxy, making them virtually indestructible. LED technology is advancing rapidly to produce longer-throwing, brighter, whiter and more efficient light sources. All of the LEDs used in Princeton Tec’s products are the highest quality available.

LUMENThe light output of Princeton Tec lights is measured in lumens. A lumen is unit derived by the International System of Units (SI) for measuring light output.

MAXBRIGHT LEDTThe highest quality LED available. Princeton Tec’s Maxbright LED is extremely bright and efficient. This single LED emits a smooth, powerful, white light useful for a wide range of tasks. Princeton Tec uses collimators or reflectors with the Maxbright LED depending upon the application.

REGULATED LED / CONSTANT BRIGHTNESSPrinceton Tec lights that feature regulated LEDs have a sophisticated regulating circuit that maintains initial brightness as long as the batteries have sufficient voltage. Traditional lights are very bright initially, but immediately begin to dim and continue to dim until the batteries are drained. Constant Brightness is a term used to describe

products that have regulated LEDs.

ULTRABRIGHT LEDThe highest quality LED available, the Ultrabright LED is bright and efficient. The smooth, white, wide-beam light emitted by Ultrabright LEDs is ideal for close to mid-range tasks. Ultrabright LEDs are usually grouped together to offer a more powerful light source. Advances currently underway will continue to improve the efficiency and

brightness of Ultrabright LEDs.

LEvEL 2Princeton Tec’s intermediate rating, Level 2, is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX7 in the International Electrotechnical Commis-sion (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 2 provide waterproof integrity down to 1

meter for up to 30 minutes.

LEvEL 3The highest of Princeton Tec’s ratings, Level 3 is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX8 in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 3 provide waterproof integrity for continual submersion in water at depths down to 100 meters.

DIMMABLE LEDSDimmable LEDs provide the precise output needed for a given task, and help conserve battery power for maximum efficiency.

LEvEL 1Level 1 is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX4 in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 1 are designed for water resistance to splashing and quick dunkings. If a light

with a Level 1 rating is accidentally submerged for a longer period of time, the batteries should be removed and the cabinets should be carefully inspected for signs of battery leakage. If water has entered the housing, the light should be dried and batteries replaced.
