The discerning and demanding 32 consumer finds constant quality in the products and appreciates the highlighting of flavours and the strong identity. The lack of filtering and pasteurization gives a rich blend of aromas and tastes in all their different forms.

Strong, spiced, top-fermented ale, bottle conditioned.Appearance: white, compact, fine and persistent head; pale straw yellow colour; fine perlage.Bouquet: hints of citrus fruit, warm yellow flowers (dandelion, camomile), al-mond and peach in syrup.Flavour: an astringent citrussy sensa-tion attacks the tip of the tongue, while any bitter sensation is released on the mid palate. Highly quaffable, typical Bel-gian watery ale.Alcohol content: 8.4 %Excellent with: rich food but without greasy sauces, smoked or savoury dishes since the ale has little hoppiness.Serving temperature: 10-12 °C

Spiced top-fermented ale made with spelt and barley malt, bottle conditioned.Appearance: white, compact, fine and persistent head; lemony colour.Bouquet: floral notes, aromas of exotic fruit with a slight citrussy acidity and hints of straw, hay and bread crumbs.Flavour: refreshing, slightly acidulous (due to the spices), in which malt and hops are delicately blended. Quaffable beer with a medium body, although with more texture than other products in the same category.Alcohol content: 5.8 %Excellent with: raw vegetables with dip, delicate foods without greasy sauces, such as fish or white meat, fresh soft cheeses, sponge cake.Serving temperature: 10-12 °C

Highly hopped top-fermented beer, bottle conditioned.Appearance: white, compact, fine and persistent head; light colour with cop-pery glints, sometimes there is a yeast cloud; fine perlage.Bouquet: notes of caramel and toffee with herbaceous sensations and fruity hints of ripe pineapple.Flavour: well-balanced between a car-amel flavour and a pronounced bitter finish. Full-bodied beer.Alcohol content: 5.5 %Excellent with: fatty and rich foods.Serving temperature: 10-12 °C.

Highly hopped, spiced, light, top-fermented ale with secondary fermentation in the bottle.Appearance: white, compact, fine and persistent head; pale straw yellow colour sometimes with a yeast cloud; fine carbonation.Bouquet: intensely fruity and herbaceous with hints of citrus fruit. Only slight hint of ethyl alcohol.Flavour: mid palate bitterness due to citrus notes, leaving a clean feel.The finish has the freshness of corianderand hop added to the orange peel sensation.Carbonation: lowType of beer: unfiltered, highly hopped, spiced light ale.Alcohol content: 3.2 %

Amber-coloured double-malt top-fermented beer with ruby glints, secondary fermentation in the bottle.Appearance: beige, compact, fine and persistent head; dark amber colour with ruby glints, no suspended solids; fine per-lage.Bouquet: cured and caramelised, with herbaceous hints and a slight acidity due to the burnt caramel malt.Flavour: the caramel malts offset the slight acidity imparted by the roasted malt and the bitterness of the hop (Ad-miral variety).Carbonation: lowType of beer: Scottish redAlcohol content: 6.3 %

Double-malt top-fermented ale the colour of a monk’s habit, with secondary fermentation in the bottle. Appearance: beige, compact,fine and persistent head; dark like a monk’s habit, no suspended solids; fine perlage.Bouquet: roasted, with hints of coffee,chocolate, locust bean, walnut-flavouredliqueur, and touches of damp barrel staves, light liquorice, ripe medlar and caramel.Flavour: gently bitterish due to the roas-ted barley, which also imparts aromas of coffee, caramel and chocolate. ACQUERELLO

Acquerello is a family-run farmstead that produces Acquerello il Riso Carnaroli Superfino, unique throughout the world, grown and packaged by Rondolino family at the historical Tenuta Colombara.

From the quality standpoint, Acquerello is the finishing line for rice: perfect in the kitchen, it unites versatility of use and unique taste.

Acquerello is now representing the excellence of Italian rice. For the product to be successful and clients to remain faithful, a superior quality standard with respect to other types of rice was created. Carnaroli, a rice variety almost unknown internationally was chosen, because it best represented the Italian cuisine.

In order to improve the quality, before it was milled, they aged the paddy rice, using the technique of refrigeration to preserve it. The research and the process of innovation continued. They first decided to vacuum pack the rice: a tin was chosen to enhance the product and differentiate it from the other rice. Thanks to a specific technique the bud is recombined with the milled rice, so that it preserves the most important nutritional values, otherwise only found in wholegrain rice.

Acquerello takes great care with packaging, choosing a unique vacuum-sealed enameled tin. This type of packaging gives better storage and a very special and elegant look to the final product.

Acquerello (aged 1 year) is available in 250g, 500g and 1kg tins. It is also available in 2.5Kg packs.

Born in 2008, Tonno Colimena produces high quality jarred tuna mainly caught in the Ionian Sea by their fishing fleet. The manufacturing follows artisan procedures that keep the nutritional qualities of the food. The production line of jarred tuna in olive oil is one of the most technologically advanced.

Food hygiene and safety are a priority for fish manufacturing, and that is the reason why they guarantee food healthiness and preservation of organoleptic and microbiological food properties.

They have built the Tuna Factory, a place where the caught tuna is processed to become a superior quality product. This tuna has a unique flavour thanks to their traditional recipes with no preservatives.

Colimena tuna is cooked in salt water (not steam cooked), therefore it retains the rich organoleptic qualities; Colimena is able to supply a high quality product which is cleaned and put into jars by hands.

The blue of the sky, the clean air and the endless sweep of fields and meadows characterize the magnificent scenario which surrounds this farm.

Giorgio Poeta gradually started his adventure in the world of bees and honey in 2002. With strong commitment and passion he finally realized his most hidden dream: creating unique products.

In 2011 he was awarded with the prize “Oscar Green” thanks to his Carato honey, the first honey in the entire world which is aged in wood barrels. After this success the product range has been enriched with the “Idromiele” (a honey-fermented nectar) and “La stella”, a perfect blend between honey and anise.

Creating fine products for every kind of taste is the main target of this farm.

Borgo Antico is a family owned winery in the hills of Conegliano Veneto, a land with moraine origins and a clay-rich core, which has always been devoted to wine cultivation, giving its wines delicate fragrances andparticularly determined aromas.

The adventure began in 1973; since then Leonardo Marchesin absorbed the atmosphere, and learnt the secrets of a fascinating world.

This winery uses only grapes of its own production and those of bestowers which have been carefully selected and supervised. Special care starts with the consideration given to the plant by avoiding herbicides and minimizing the use of chemical products.

The harvest, done exclusively by hand in boxes, certainly adds value and quality to the final product.

Once the grapes finally arrive in the winery, they are manually poured out of boxes. A portion is gently pressed while the other is put through a cold maceration process in order to enhance the extraction of primary aromas.

The processing in an inert environment allows for a low sulphur level, for the aromas to remain pure thus acquiring a peculiarity that goes directly to the palate and at the same time is enjoyable thus reflecting and representing its original territory.

Ferdinando was the first company in the provinces of Reggio Emilia and Modena to devote themselves to the production of traditional balsamic vinegar and, from about 40 years, to market this product previously confined to exclusive family use. Today they are one of the most important producers in this field.

It is now up to Giovanni Cavalli continue this ancient tradition and keep the traditional balsamic vinegar of the family at the top of the quality production.

Cavalli family is synonymous of quality balsamic vinegar.

He currently markets the Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Reggio Emilia (12 and 25 years – extravecchio), Cavalli Balsamico (soft & fruity) and Classico – Riserva Nando (different aging: 2-3-5 years), produced in accordance with methods passed down from generations.

All Cavalli products are obtained from only cooked grape must, without other ingredients and additives. There are no thickeners, colourings, flavourings, preservatives.The products are gluten-free.

Russo Family has been working since 1936 with great skill and passion to produce and market handicraft liqueurs and spirits. They are one of the historical distilleries in the Campania region.

Since their origins, this distillery has always been considered an handicraft company for its production of typical liqueurs of Campania among which stands for quality and method of production: Limoncello IGP from Amalfi coast which is made exclusively by infusion of lemon peels.

Basing on old recipes, they use lemons from Amalfi coast and high quality pure alcohol from molasses. The second feature is the hand peeling of the lemons offering the best use of essential oils present in the skins.

Continuity, tradition, innovation and customer satisfaction are the principles of the distillery. Any company choice is based on the care for the whole productive process, from the selection and control of the raw materials up to transformation.

BIOSOLNATURA

Biosolnatura was founded in 2001 as a fruit and vegetable handmade preserve workshop. In 2013, its simple and traditional identity prompted the curiosity of three young Sicilians: Saro, Giusi and Giuseppe, who were in love with the fruits of their island and decided to take over the workshop to start a new entrepreneurial adventure.

The main objective? Trying to reproduce the flavours and scents of their own land in the production of handmade jams and preserves.

All the products are traditionally handcrafted but they are always looking for new innovative recipes. Seasonal ingredients are chosen and preserved raw materials are avoided to guarantee an authentic Sicilian taste.

No jellying agents: only natural fruit pectin is found in their preserves.

It is a blend ofcoffees originating from Cerrado, purposely studied to be used in espresso blends where a mediumbody and fine acidity are required. In taste notes of cocoa / dark chocolate and toasted almonds theyare defined and dominated than other Santos a bit more fruity.

Monsooned coffee are uniquely Indian.“Monsooning” method was discovered by accident in 1950 when the coffee beans shipped fromthe Malabar coast ports and traveling to Europe during the months of monsoon winds the beans withmoisture swelled. The result is a coffee with a lasting sweet taste.The preparation of Monsooned coffee is an elaborate process and the whole operation of monsooningtakes about 10 to 12 weeks.The monsooning process is carried out from June to September, when the southwesternmonsoon is very intense on the West Coast Indiana.The coffees are scattered on the floor and mopped regularly and it takes about 8 to 10 days to absorb the necessary moisture.During this process, coffee beans will swell up to one and half times the normal size whilst colorchanges to a pale white and gold. Coffee with hints of spices and dried fruit, nuts and almonds.

These 2400 farming smallholdersdistinguish themselves in their impeccableattention to detail in processing.Ethiopian heirloom varietals are chosenfrom the forest and transplanted to smallgardens, adding a layer of selection to theincredible complexity available amongwild coffee plants.Farmers hand-sort for unripe andoverripe cherries.Sugary and floral with apricot, jasmine,caramel, lemon-lime and chocolate.

Described as a Cru, it is made in the Frignano mountain area, feeding their cows using only local forages that lend a unique texture to their milk.

Common thinking would place the grain and the pasta side by side, when in reality wheat fields are usually far away from pasta factories. At the Mancini Farm, however, the pasta is produced in a factory set amongst the ears of grain, using exclusively the durum wheat grown in its fields.

Care and respect for the land are elements of a family legacy that – now in its third generation – in Massimo Mancini has the necessary agronomic expertise in order to place the right level of importance upon the raw material.

The most technologically advanced equipment is used to interpret an ancient art of making pasta, with an eye to achieving the highest quality possible.

Here the farmer and the pasta maker, putting their knowledge at each other’s disposal, work with the same objective: offering, every harvest, a pasta that is consistent, tasty, balanced and nutritious, with a story to tell.

Thanks to this small green nut that our passion and dedication became a job. Our pistachios grow on the steep, rocky lava flows of Etna, almost like a challenge of nature; a symbolism that becomes an allegory of the Sicilian people’s constant commitment to the pursuit of goodness and beauty.

A challenge that has been repeated for centuries, since the first settlers who gradually instilled the concepts of perfection and refinement in our way of working.

The ingredients in our recipes, for example, derive from the Arab invasion in Sicily that bought not only their culture but also their way of cooking; these delicacies over time have emerged into our culture and transformed into a masterpiece of taste, which is imitated throughout the world.

This is why we have dedicated this introduction to the Pistachio from Bronte, so

that we don’t forget that we love the pistachiobecause we are from Bronte.
