Voorwoord - Foreword

Als echte liefhebber van de paardensport ben ik vereerd voorzitter te mogen zijn van de selectiecommissie. Auction4Good is een dressuurpaardenveiling die garant staat voor 100% transparantie en kwaliteit. Het is een groot voordeel dat wij gebruik kunnen maken van het internationale platform van World Dressage Masters, gecombineerd met de perfecte locatie van Den Goubergh.

Middels deze veiling ondersteunen wij Sportfonds ParaPaard; een organisatie die steun biedt om paardensport voor iedereen met een handicap structureel mogelijk te maken. Het is een voorrecht om ons hiervoor in te kunnen zetten.

Wij zijn trots u onze eerste collectie voor te kunnen stellen. Ik zie er naar uit u te ontmoeten tijdens onze presentatie en veiling op 1 en 3 december.

Cors den Engelsen HeemskerkDeze vooraanstaande paardenhandelaar is voorzitter van de selectiecommissie. Hij is de eigenaar van Heemskerk Horses; een familiebedrijf dat al sinds 1921 bestaat. Van generatie op generatie wordt de kennis over springen dressuurpaarden doorgegeven. Zijn bedrijf is internationaal georiënteerd en heeft een dependance in China. Dana van Lierop Meervoudig Europees Kampioene en U25 Grand Prix-amazone Dana leidt paarden van klanten op tot Grand Prix-niveau. Onder begeleiding van Tineke Bartels en haar moeder Nicolette van Leeuwen probeert zij altijd het beste uit een paard te halen. Dana is met haar sportervaring een echte aanwinst voor de selectiecommissie. Drs. Alfons GeertsErkend paarden- en keuringsdierenarts Alfons maakt ook deel uit van de selectiecommissie. Zijn bedrijf eDigit doet mobiel paardenonderzoek voor keuringen en onderzoek. Het is een begrip in de Nederlandse hippische wereld.

Cors den Engelsen HeemskerkThis renown horse dealer is chairman of the selection committee. He is the owner of Heemskerk Horses; a family owned company that was founded in 1921. The knowledge of jumping and dressage horses is passed on from generation to generation. His company is internationally oriented and has a dependance in China. Dana van Lierop Multi European Champion and U25 Grand Prix rider Dana trains her clients’ horses up to Grand Prix level. Under the guidance of Olympic rider Tineke Bartels and her mother Nicolette van Leeuwen she always does her utmost to help the horses achieve at their best. With her experience in the arena, Dana is a real asset to the selection committee. Drs. Alfons GeertsApproved equestrian veterinarian Alfons is also part of the selection committee. His company eDigit carries out mobile examinations on horses. eDigit is well known to the Dutch equestrian connaisseurs.

Hugo is een stoer paard dat opvalt door zijn bewegingsmechanisme en zelfhouding. Hij beschikt over drie uitstekende gangen, waarbij zijn galop uitblinkt. Charmeur tekende voor het vaderschap van de expressieve Hugo. Charmeur was winnaar van de PAVO Cup als 4- én 5-jarige onder dressuuramazone Emmelie Scholtens. Deze combinatie won in 2013 ook nog eens de KWPN Hengstencompetitie in de klasse M. Inmiddels is Charmeur succesvol in de Lichte Tour onder Madeleine Witte-Vrees. Hugo’s moeder Rolette draagt het keurpredikaat. De lijn gaat door op de keur preferente Lorette. Zij bracht meerdere Z1 en Z2 paarden en de kampioen van de Centrale Keuring Brabant Amarette.

Hugo is a robust horse who stands out thanks to his way of moving and his self-carriage. He has three excellent paces, including a stunning canter. The expressive Hugo was sired by Charmeur who, ridden by dressage rider Emmelie Scholtens, won the PAVO Cup both as a four-year-old and as a five-year-old. In 2013, this combination also won the KWPN Stallion Competition at M-level. Charmeur is now successful at PSG level with Madeleine Witte-Vrees. Hugo’s dam Rolette carries the Keur Predikaat. The bloodline goes back to the Keur Preferente Lorette. She produced several Z1 and Z2-level horses as well as Amarette, the Centrale Keuring Brabant champion.

Harmony is een hoog in het bloed staande driejarige dochter van Charmeur. Ze is een perfect voorbeeld van hoe bloed en kracht samenkomen in de hedendaagse dressuurfokkerij. De drie basisgangen van Harmony doen niet voor elkaar onder en kenmerken zich door ruimte, kracht en techniek. Ze loopt qua africhting voor op haar leeftijdsgenoten en is goed na te rijden. Vader Charmeur was winnaar van de PAVO Cup als 4- én 5-jarige onder dressuuramazone Emmelie Scholtens. Inmiddels is Charmeur succesvol in de Lichte Tour onder Madeleine Witte-Vrees. In de ogen van de selectiecommissie is Harmony een absolute belofte voor de toekomst en kan ze ver komen met begeleiding van een professional.

Harmony is a pedigree three-year-old daughter of Charmeur. She is a perfect example of how pedigree and power come together in current dressage breeding. Harmony’s three basic paces are in no way inferior to each other and are all characterised by scope, power and technique. In her training she is ahead of her peers and is good to ride. Sire Charmeur was the winner of the PAVO Cup as both a 4-year-old and a 5-year-old, ridden by Emmelie Scholtens. Charmeur is now successful at PSG level with Madeleine Witte-Vrees. In the selection committee’s eyes Harmony is an absolute promise for the future and can go far under the guidance of a professional.

Deze driejarige hengst is een imponerende verschijning met veel uitstraling. Zijn bouw verraadt dat het een echte krachtpatser zal gaan worden wanneer hij wat ouder is. Hennessy C beschikt over een goed ontwikkeld exterieur en is gemakkelijk te rijden. Zijn vader Glock’s Johnson TN levert topprestaties onder Hans Peter Minderhoud. Het duo maakt deel uit van het Nederlandse team en won EK-goud in Aken. To Sydney, de moeder van Hennessy C, werd als 3-jarige 8e in de NMK finale. Als 5-jarige werd ze 12e in de finale van de PAVO Cup maar kon wegens een blessure helaas niet deelnemen aan het WK in Verden. Als 7-jarige werd ze reserve kampioen bij de 4- t/m 7-jarigen.

This three-year-old stallion is an impressive horse with a lot of charisma. His build betrays the fact that he is set to become a true star. Hennessy C has a well-developed exterior. His sire Glock’s Johnson TN is performing superbly under Hans Peter Minderhoud. The pair is part of the Dutch team and won Gold at the European Championships in Aachen. To Sydney, Hennessy C’s dam, was 8th in the National Mare Keuring Finals as a 3-year-old. At the age of 5 she became 12th in the PAVO Cup but could not compete in the World Championships in Verden due to an injury. To Sydney was reserve champion when she was 7-years-old in the 4- to 7-year-old class.

De Zhivago-dochter Hokypoky is een prachtige verschijning. Met haar elegante manier van bewegen weet ze alle ogen op haar te richten. Zo ook tijdens het VWF Dressuur bij Manege Prinsenstad in oktober. Hier verscheen ze aan de start en werd ze geprezen om haar bewegingstechniek en actieve achterbeengebruik. Haar moedersvader, de Oostenrijks gefokte hengst Charisma, begon zijn sportieve carrière met een vliegende start door de Bundes Reitpferdechampionates in 2001 te winnen. Daarna heeft hij op Prix St. George-niveau furore gemaakt met de Nederlandse ruiter Marcel Schoenmaker.

The Zhivago-daughter Hokypoky is a beautiful figure. Her elegant way of moving ensures she attracts everyone’s attention. This was also the case during the VWF Dressage held at Manege Prinsenstad in October. She was praised here for her way of moving and her active use of her hind legs. Her damsire, the Austrian-bred stallion Charisma, started his sports career with a flying start by winning the Bundes Reitpferdechampionates in 2001. He then made a furore at Prix St. George level, with the Dutch rider Marcel Schoenmaker.

5. Guns of Wild RoseGelding | L | 2011 | Bay | Basic

Guns of Wild Rose is de ruwe diamant van deze collectie. De vierjarige ruin is scherp maar, erg fijn te rijden. Hij toont veel werkwilligheid. Guns of Wild Rose beschikt over een hele expressieve draf, een zeer krachtige galop en kan ook nog eens goed stappen. Guns of Wilde Rose is een Grand Prix-paard in de dop. Hij lijkt te beschikken over de mogelijkheden om door te groeien naar de top. Moeder Romylina is een stermerrie uit de bekende Oberlina-stam. Vader Ziësto won onder Gerdine Marée de kleine finale tijdens het WK jonge dressuurpaarden. Tegenwoordig is dit internationale dressuurpaard onder het zadel van Hans Peter Minderhoud.

Guns of Wild Rose is the rough diamond in this collection. The four-year-old gelding is sharp but very good to ride. He shows much willingness to work. Guns of Wild Rose has a very expressive trot, an extremely powerful canter and can also walk very nicely. Guns of Wild Rose is a Grand Prix horse in the making. He seems to have the ability to progress to the top. Dam Romylina is a ster mare out of the well-known Oberlina bloodline. Sire Ziësto, ridden by Gerdine Marée, won the consolation finals during the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses. This international dressage horse is currently ridden by Hans Peter Minderhoud.

6. Amalia’s Claus Stallion | 1.46m | 2011 | Bay | Basic

Deze prachtige ponyhengst werd in 2014 goedgekeurd bij het Rheinisches Pferdestammbuch. Ondanks dat Amalia’s Claus een hengst is, is hij zeer eenvoudig te rijden. Hij heeft een meewerkend karakter. Dat maakt hem zeer geschikt voor jonge talentvolle ruiters en amazones. Zijn volle zus is Amalia’s Alexia. Zij werd in 2013 dag- én sectie kampioen bij de driejarige merries van het Welsh stamboek. De vader van Amalia’s Claus is Heitrak’s Marvin. Deze hengst loopt op Z2 niveau met amazone Demi Beau van ’t Veer. Amalia’s Claus beschikt net als zijn vader over een extreem goede stap en een draf met veel afdruk. Dit alles maakt hem een zeer complete dressuurpony.

This superb pony stallion was approved by the Rheinisches Pferdestammbuch in 2014. Despite the fact that Amalia’s Claus is a stallion, he is very easy to ride. In addition, he has a cooperative character. This makes him very suitable for talented young riders. His full-sister is Amalia’s Alexia who in 2013 was crowned day and section champion of the three-year-old Welsh Studbook mares. The sire of Amalia’s Claus is Heitrak’s Marvin. This stallion is competing at Z2-level with rider Demi Beau van ’t Veer. Amalia’s Claus has, just like his sire, an extremely good walk and a powerful trot. All this makes him a very complete dressage pony.

7. Golden-RayGelding | L | 2011 | Bay | Basic

Deze vierjarige ruin beschikt over veel kracht en toont nu al veel talent voor het sluiten. Hij heeft een imponerend front, is goed gemodelleerd en zeer makkelijk te rijden. Golden-Ray is een zoon van top vererver Lord Leatherdale. Deze hengst bracht meerdere uitstekend presterende nakomelingen, zoals; KWPN-hengst Chippendale, KWPN verrichtingskampioen Everdale en Glamourdale, KWPN kampioen in 2014. Maar ook aan moederszijde is veel talent aanwezig. Moeder Donna-Ray (v. United) vormt een combinatie met de Turkse dressuuramazone Lina Uzunhasan. In maart 2015 werden zij nog derde tijdens de Kür op muziek op Junioren-niveau in Vidauban.

This four-year-old gelding has tremendous power and already shows much talent. He has an impressive front, is well-modelled and is very easy to ride. Golden-Ray is a son of the top producer Lord Leatherdale. This stallion produced several excellently-performing offspring such as KPWN-stallion Chippendale, KWPN ability champion Everdale and Glamourdale, KWPN champion in 2014. Furthermore, he produced many successful IBOP mares. Much talent is also present on the dam’s side. Dam Donna-Ray (by United) forms a combination with the Turkish dressage rider Lina Uzunhasan. In March 2015 they were third in the Kür to Music at Junior-level in Vidauban.

1. Kun je jezelf even kort voorstellen?Ik ben Marielle Wiegmans en ben geboren in Utrecht. In het dagelijks leven ben ik Partner bij Middenduin Corporate Finance te Nijkerk. Daarnaast ben ik partner van Evenaar Yachting in Breukelen. Maar mijn grote passie is Sportfonds ParaPaard, een onderdeel van het nationaal Fonds Gehandicapten Sport.

ParaPaard ondersteunt maneges en stichtingen die zich bezig houden met het aanbieden van paardensport voor gehandicapten. ParaPaard ondersteunt zowel materieel als immaterieel. Ambassadeurs van ParaPaard zijn Anky van Grunsven en Gerard Joling.

2. Waar komt het initiatief vandaan? Ik ben een ‘mensen-mens’, paarden-liefhebber, beschik over een groot netwerk en weet wat over geld. Al deze ‘ingrediënten’ komen bij ParaPaard bij

1. Can you briefly introduce yourself?My name is Marielle Wiegmans and I was born in Utrecht. In everyday life I am a Partner at Middenduin Corporate Finance in Nijkerk. In addition I am a Partner at Evenaar Yachting in Breukelen. But my great passion is Sportfonds ParaPaard, part of the national Disabled Sport Foundation. ParaPaard supports riding schools and foundations that offer equestrianism to disabled people. ParaPaard supports both tangibly and intangibly. Ambassadors of ParaPaard are Anky van Grunsven and Gerard Joling. 2. Where does the initiative originate?I am a ‘people person’, horse-lover, have a large network at my disposal and know a bit about money. All these ‘ingredients’ come together in ParaPaard. During my life I have seen various, often poignant cases, unfold. People who desperately need to ride a horse or wagon-bed and who are no longer, or only to a limited extent, able to do so due to financial reasons. This motivated me to set up Sportfonds ParaPaard. Since then Jumping Amsterdam, CHIO Rotterdam, Indoor Brabant, Military Boekelo and PSC Den Goubergh have all become ParaPaard partners.Our mascotte Kareltje is also a way of collecting funds. As an anecdote, Kareltje can be seen in the film ‘Keet en Koen en de speurtocht naar Bassie en Adriaan’ (translation: ‘Keet and Koen go in search of Bassie and Adriaan’.

DEC 2015 3. How did you get to know about Auction4Good?Via a good connection in my network I was put in touch with World Dressage Masters. They are the initiators of the auction and were immediately enthusiastic about ParaPaard’s objectives and have embraced it.

4. Can you give a few examples of what you do with the donations?

ParaPaard supports the riding schools in different ways; for example special aids such as special reins, helmets, adapted saddles, special pads, etc. We also contribute to alterations to properties, replacement of riding school arena surfaces, forklift trucks and tractors. Furthermore we sponsor events for the disabled sport. Intangibly we contribute for example by negotiating the purchase of horses, outsourcing administration, and applying for subsidies.

5. How can people help ParaPaard?People can support ParaPaard either with money or with materials. In order to fulfil all the (approved) requests, much money is

elkaar. Gedurende mijn leven heb ik bepaalde, vaak schrijnende gevallen, voorbij zien komen. Mensen die paardrijden zo hard nodig hebben en dat niet meer kunnen of beperkt kunnen doen vanwege financiële redenen. Dit heeft mij gemotiveerd om Sportfonds ParaPaard op te richten. Inmiddels zijn Jumping Amsterdam, CHIO Rotterdam, Indoor Brabant, Military Boekelo en PSC Den Goubergh partner van ParaPaard.

Ook onze mascotte Kareltje is een manier om middelen op te halen. Leuk om te weten is dat Kareltje te zien is in de film ‘Keet en Koen en de speurtocht naar Bassie en Adriaan’.

3. Hoe ben je met Auction4Good in aanraking gekomen? Via een goede relatie uit mijn netwerk ben ik in contact gebracht met World Dressage Masters. Zij zijn de initiatiefnemer van de veiling en waren meteen enthousiast over de doelstelling van ParaPaard en hebben het omarmd.

4. Kun je een aantal voorbeelden geven van wat jullie met de donaties doen?ParaPaard ondersteunt de maneges op diverse gebieden. Denk hierbij aan hulpmiddelen zoals speciale teugels, caps, aangepaste zadels, speciale dekjes, etc. Ook dragen wij bij aan aanpassing aan het vastgoed, vervangen van manege- bodems, heftrucks en tractors.

6. What is your objective for the coming year?Our objective is to make the whole of The Netherlands, within a couple of years, aware of the fact that horse riding for disabled people is imperative. In particular the medical world and the health insurers.For this, scientific investigation is necessary. We want to do this together with strategic partners. How nice it would be if the costs of this sport/ therapy could be included in the insurance package? The objective is that medics will refer people to riding schools so that they can be provided with their own needs again.

Verder sponsoren wij evenementen voor de gehandicapten (breedte)sport. Immaterieel dragen wij bij aan het bemiddelen voor bijvoorbeeld het aankopen van paarden, het uitbesteden van administraties en subsidieaanvragen.

5. Op welke manier kan men zich inzetten voor ParaPaard? Mensen kunnen ParaPaard onder-steunen met geld of in materialen. Om alle (goedgekeurde) aanvragen in te vullen is veel geld nodig. Op onze website kunnen mensen doneren en ook op de evenementen waar ParaPaard aanwezig is kan gedoneerd worden. Ook kan men natuurlijk onze leuke knuffel Kareltje kopen.

6.Wat is jullie doelstelling voor het komende jaar?Onze doelstelling is binnen een paar jaar alle betrokkenen in de medische wereld en de zorgverzekeraars in Nederland bewust te maken van het feit dat paardrijden voor gehandicapten hard nodig is. Hiervoor is wetenschappelijk onderzoek noodzakelijk. Dit willen we graag met strategische partners gaan uitvoeren. Hoe mooi zou het zijn als de kosten van deze sport/therapie worden opgenomen in het verzekeringspakket? Het doel is dat medici mensen gaan doorsturen naar maneges, zodat zij weer in hun eigen behoefte kunnen voorzien.

8. Givesta M.H.Mare | M | 2011 | Black | Basic

Het is een lust voor het oog om te zien met hoeveel gemak deze 4-jarige Uphill-dochter door de baan gaat. Ze denkt voorwaarts en heeft een makkelijke zelfhouding. De galop van de knappe Givesta M.H. heeft veel ruimte en sprong, waarbij ze zeer stabiel in de aanleuning blijft. Opvallend is het actieve achterbeen van Givesta M.H. Dat is ook niet zo vreemd met zowel Uphill als Tuschinski in de pedigree. Grand Prix-ruiter Diederik van Silfhout heeft met Uphill tal van successen behaald op Prix St. Georges-niveau. Opvallend veel van zijn nakomelingen presteren op hoog niveau, zoals Aston Martin NL (Grand Prix met Christa Larmoyeur) en Cristal (Prix St. Georges met Marie José Calis).

It is a feast for the eyes to watch how easily this 4-year-old Uphill-daughter performs in the ring. She is forward-thinking and has an easy self-carriage. The beautiful Givesta M.H. has a scopey, powerful canter meaning that she maintains a very steady contact. Givesta M.H.’s active hind leg action is very notable. This is not so strange with both Uphill as well as Tuschinski in her pedigree. Grand Prix rider Diederik van Silfhout had many successes at Prix St. Georges level with Uphill. A striking number of his offspring are performing at a high level, such as Aston Martin NL (Grand Prix with Christa Larmoyeur) and Cristal (Prix St. Georges with Marie José Calis).

Deze zeer mooie verschijning Rambo beschikt over een prachtig exterieur en drie goede basisgangen. Hij is makkelijk te rijden en heeft een fijne mond. Daarnaast is hij van nature voorwaarts en geeft hij zijn ruiter een comfortabel gevoel. Rambo is een vierjarige zoon van de bij het Holstein, Oldenburg, SWB en Westfalen stamboek goedgekeurde hengst Rock Forever. Deze hengst loopt momenteel op internationaal niveau onder de Duitser Oliver Oelrich. Uit de moederlijn komen o.a. Black Painted en de dressuurpaarden Juweel (Anna Israel, USA) en Macrider Premier (Aat van Essen, NED). Volgens de selectiecommissie gaat Rambo een mooie sportieve carrière tegemoet met een Junior of Young Rider.

This very beautiful phenomenon, Rambo, has a fantastic exterior and three good basic gaits. He is very easy to ride and has a soft mouth. Furthermore, he is forward-going by nature and gives his rider a comfortable feeling. Rambo is a four-year-old son of the Holstein, Oldenburg, SWB and Westfalian approved stallion, Rock Forever. Freeman is een knappe vijfjarige zoon van Vivaldi. De selectiecommissie weet zeker dat de toekomstige ruiter of amazone ontzettend blij zal worden van zijn meewerkende karakter. De ruin is gemakkelijk te rijden en beschikt over drie correcte basisgangen. Zijn halfbroer Chagall (v. Jazz) werd in 2010 op de KWPN Select Sale verkocht voor maar liefst €38.000,-. Voordat de Jazz-zoon naar Engeland werd verkocht werd hij op ZZ-Licht-niveau uitgebracht door Justine Mudde. Grootmoeder Ilanda is de moeder van het bekende dressuurpaard Ralanda (v. Jackson), die Intermediaire I liep en nu succesvol als fokmerrie wordt ingezet.

Freeman is a handsome five-year-old son of Vivaldi. The selection committee knows for certain that his future rider will be extremely pleased with his cooperative character. The gelding is easy to ride and has three correct basic gaits. His half-brother Chagall (by Jazz) was sold at the KWPN Select Sale in 2010 for €38.000,-.Before the Jazz-son was sold to England, he competed at ZZ-Light-level ridden by Justine Mudde. Granddam Ilanda is the dam of the well-known dressage horse Ralanda (by Jackson) who competed at Intermediaire I-level and who is now successfully used as a broodmare.

Forza is een vijfjarige merrie van Zhivago. Ze beschikt over een exterieur dat de perfectie benadert. Mede hierdoor heeft ze veel schoudervrijheid, die ze zeker in de draf optimaal benut. Daarnaast toont Forza nu al veel aanleg voor het sluiten. Dat heeft ze meegekregen van haar vader Zhivago. De Krack C-zoon loopt op Intermediare II niveau onder Tommie Visser. Forza is vorig jaar voor het eerst ingezet als fokmerrie en gaf een prachtig veulen van Forty. Deze merrie gaat een mooie sportieve carrière tegemoet. Dat kan zowel met een amateur als een professional zijn.

Forza is a five-year-old mare by Zhivago. She has an exterior bordering on perfection. Partly as a result of this she is very free through her shoulder, something which she certainly uses optimally in the trot. Forza is also already showing much talent for collecting. She inherited this from her father Zhivago. The Krack C son is ridden by Tommie Visser on third level. Forza was used last year for the first time as a broodmare and produced a beautiful foal by Forty. This mare is destined for a wonderful sports career. This could be either with an amateur or a professional.

Deze talentvolle zesjarige ruin is één van de favorieten van de veiling. Met zijn power en mooie voorbeengebruik geeft hij zijn ruiter een geweldig gevoel. Mede door zijn sterke achterbeen is hij erg bergopwaarts. Momenteel acteert Edison op ZZ Licht-niveau. Zijn vader Glock’s Johnson TN levert topprestaties onder Hans Peter Minderhoud. Het duo maakt deel uit van het Nederlandse team en wonnen EK-goud in Aken. Moeder Andrea was succesvol in het ZZ Licht onder amazone Annemieke Vincourt. In het voorjaar van 2014 is Andrea naar Amerika verkocht. Edison brengt al deze sportgenen bij elkaar. Hij toont veel talent voor het schakelen en heeft veel aanleg voor piaffe en passage.

This talented six-year-old gelding is one of the favourites in the auction. With his power and nice use of his front legs, he gives his rider a wonderful feeling. Partly due to his strong hind legs, he is very uphill. Edison currently acts on third level. His sire, Glock’s Jonson TN, is performing superbly under Hans Peter Minderhoud. They are part of the Dutch Team and won Gold at the European Championships in Aachen. Dam Andrea was succesfull on third level under rider Annemieke Vincourt. Deze zevenjarige zoon van dressuuricoon Jazz, die geen verdere introductie nodig heeft, is één van de toppaarden van Auction4Good. Zijn moeder gaf al eerder een Jazz-nakomeling genaamd T’Avanti. Zij loopt Lichte Tour en was Nederlands Kampioen ZZ Licht. Davanti is een prachtig paard met een fantastisch voorbeen. Hij beschikt over een goede stap, een zeer expressieve draf en een ruime, sterke galop. De elegante zwarte ruin loopt voor op zijn leeftijdsgenoten qua ontwikkeling en africhting. Davanti is bij uitstek geschikt voor een Junior of een Young Rider die over een aantal jaren hoge ogen wil gooien in de Grand Prix-ring. Dankzij zijn talent en meewerkende karakter heeft Davanti een mooie sportcarrière in het vooruitzicht.

This seven-year-old son of dressage icon Jazz, who needs no further introduction, is one of the top horses of Auction4Good. His dam has already produced the Jazz offspring T’Avanti. She acts on Small Tour level and was Dutch Champion on third level. Davanti is a beautiful horse with a fantastic foreleg action. He has a good walk, a very expressive trot and a strong, scopey canter. The elegant black gelding is ahead of his peers in both his development and training. Davanti is superlatively suitable for a Junior or Young Rider wanting to attract attention in the Grand Prix ring in a few years time. Thanks to his talent and cooperative character, Davanti has a wonderful sports career ahead of him.

14. Beukenoord’s BonbonStallion | 1.47m | 2007 | Dark bay | FEI

Beukenoord’s Bonbon is bijna de kleinste van onze collectie, maar zeker niet minder groots in talent. De achtjarige D-pony loopt op dit moment FEI Internationaal Z2 met de Nederlandse amazone Meike Kroot. Beukenoord’s Bonbon is een top gemodelleerde en zeer aansprekende pony. De hengst beschikt over een extreem goede draf en een goede stap en galop. Hij is fijn te rijden en heeft veel ervaring voor zijn leeftijd. Zijn vader Bodo werd in 2006 Nederlands Kampioen jonge dressuurpony’s. Bodo’s vader én moedersvader zijn beide verrichtingstoppers en beide Z-dressuur. Kortom: een echte musthave voor diegene die EK ambities heeft!

Beukenoord’s Bonbon is almost the smallest in our collection but is definitely not any less talented. The eight-year-old D-pony is currently competing at FEI International Z2-level with the Dutch rider Meike Kroot. Beukenoord’s Bonbon is a fantastically build and very attractive pony. The stallion has an extremely good trot and a good walk and canter. He is a nice ride and has a lot of experience for his age. His sire Bodo was Dutch Champion of young dressage ponies in 2006. Bodo’s sire and his dam’s sire were both top of their year and both at Z-dressage level. In short: a real ‘must have’ for anyone with ambitions for the European Championships!

1. Algemeen

1.1. Auction4Good organiseert in haar functie van bemiddelaar tussen verkoper en koper op donderdag 3 december 2015 de veiling Auction4Good (“de Veiling”) op de accommodatie van Ruitersportcentrum Den Goubergh in Roosendaal. De Veiling zal plaatsvinden onder toezicht van een notaris van AKD N.V.

1.2. Deze veilingvoorwaarden zijn van toepassing op alle tijdens de Veiling gesloten koopovereenkomsten met betrekking tot via Auction4Good aangeboden paarden, alsmede alle overeenkomsten die daaruit voortvloeien.

1.3. Op de Veiling en alle daaruit voortvloeiende overeenkomsten is Nederlands recht van toepassing.

1.4. Deze voorwaarden worden vóór aanvang van de Veiling bekend gemaakt door plaatsing van deze voorwaarden in de veilingcatalogus en op de website van Auction4Good. Alle deelnemers aan de Veiling accepteren via hun deelname de toepasselijkheid van de veilingvoorwaarden op de Veiling en de tijdens de Veiling gesloten koopovereenkomsten.

2. Verkoop/Veiling

2.1. Tijdens de Veiling zullen de door Auction4Good geselecteerde veilingpaarden aan de hand en/of onder het zadel voorgesteld worden. Auction4Good is geen eigenaar van de geselecteerde veilingpaarden en heeft geen directe of indirecte belangen bij de veilingpaarden. De rol van Auction4Good is beperkt tot het bieden van een platform, waarop potentiële kopers de mogelijkheid krijgen om streng geselecteerde talentvolle en gezonde 4-7 jarige dressuurpaarden en dressuur pony’s te kopen direct van de eigenaar van de betreffende paarden.

2.2. De paarden zullen tijdens de Veiling per opbod in Euro’s worden verkocht, tenzij anders aangegeven, met een minimale inzet van

1. General

1.1. Auction4Good organizes in its function as an intermediary between sellers and buyers the auction Auction4Good (“the Auction”) on Thursday 3 December 2015 on the property of Ruitersportcentrum Den Goubergh in Roosendaal, The Netherlands. The auction will be held under the supervision of a notary of AKD N.V.

1.2. These Auction terms and conditions are applicable to all sales agreements concluded during the Auction related to the horses offered via Auction4Good, as well as any agreements resulting from that.

1.3. This agreement -and the agreements which derive thereof- are governed by Dutch law.

1.4. These terms and conditions are to be announced prior to the start of the Auction and are also included in the auction catalogue and placed on the website of Auction4Good. All participants of the Auction will, by participating in the Auction, agree upon these terms and conditions being applicable during the Auction and any agreement resulting from the Auction.

2. Sale/Auction

2.1. During the Auction, the horses selected by Auction4Good will be presented in-hand or under the saddle. Auction4Good is not the owner of any of the selected horses and has no direct or indirect interest in the selected horses. Auction4Good will only offer a platform for potential buyers to buy selected 4 to 7 year old horses that are talented and healthy. The horses are to be bought from the owners directly.

2.2. The horses will be sold during the Auction by bidding in the Euro currency, unless otherwise stated, with a minimum starting bid of € 5.000,00. Bids are to be made in increments of € 500,00 at a time up to €

€ 5.000,00. Er wordt geboden in bedragen van € 500,00 tot € 10.000,00, vervolgens in bedragen van € 1.000,00 tot € 20.000,00 en daarboven in bedragen van € 2.000,00.

De veilingmeester mag op eigen initiatief een andere biedstaffel vaststellen voordat het bieden op een bepaald paard begint. Een potentiële bieder/koper zal aan zijn/haar bod worden gehouden, totdat een eventueel hoger bod volgt. Krijgt de koper de afslag door de veilingmeester toegewezen dan is die betreffende koper verplicht het rekeningbedrag te voldoen, zoals in artikel 3 is berekend. In geval van twijfel betreffende de geldigheid van een afslag, kan het laatste opbod weer aangenomen worden en zal het opbieden hervat worden. De notaris beslist bindend over eventuele geschillen die bij of tijdens het bieden ontstaan.

2.3. De koper dient na afslag de koopovereenkomst te ondertekenen voor de aankoop van het desbetreffende paard. Op de website van Auction4Good staat bij de omschrijving van de veilingpaarden steeds een afschrift van de te ondertekenen koopovereenkomst opgenomen. Met de ondertekening van de koopovereenkomst komt er een directe koopovereenkomst tot stand tussen koper en verkoper en een bemiddelingsovereenkomst tussen Auction4Good en koper.

3. Afrekening veilingbedrag en – kosten

3.1. Direct na afloop van de Veiling dient de koper zijn/haar betalingsverplichtingen te vervullen op het veilingbureau. Indien de koper hieraan niet voldoet, is Auction4Good gerechtigd de bieding niet te erkennen en ongeldig te verklaren en het gekochte paard opnieuw te veilen, dan wel het gekochte paard toe te wijzen aan de een na hoogste bieder. De koper is in dat geval van rechtswege in verzuim en is gehouden de daardoor veroorzaakte schade aan Auction4Good te vergoeden, onverminderd de overige rechten van Auction4Good. De schade bestaat uit het verschil tussen het door de koper geboden

The auctioneer may determine another bid increment before starting the bidding process on a specific horse. Potential bidders/buyers will be held to their bids until a higher bid has been received. If the auctioneer awards a bid to a buyer, the relevant buyer is obliged to pay the amount due as defined in Article 3. In case of doubt concerning the validity of a bid, the previous bid can be accepted again, after which bidding can resume. In the event of any disputes arising with or during the bidding process, the decision of the notary shall be binding.

2.3. The buyer will, directly after the Auction, sign the purchase agreement for the sale of the specific horse. One can find the purchase agreement on the website of Auction4Good below the description of the specific horses. By signing the purchase agreement, both a purchase agreement between buyer and seller and a mediation agreement between Auction4Good and buyer will be realized.

3. Settlement of auction amounts and expenses

3.1. Immediately after completion of the auction buyers are obliged to settle amounts due in the Auction office. If a buyer should fail to comply with this obligation, Auction4Good shall be entitled not to recognize the offer and to declare the Auction invalidate, after which the purchased horse will again be made available for Auction or alternatively the purchased horse is to be allocated to the second highest bidder. The buyer shall in this event be considered to be in legal default and shall be liable to compensate Auction4Good for any damage incurred, without prejudice to any other rights that Auction4Good may have. These damages

bedrag vermeerderd met de veilingkosten en het uiteindelijk gerealiseerde bedrag vermeerderd met kosten. Het schadebedrag is direct opeisbaar.

3.2. Het door de koper te betalen bedrag wordt als volgt berekend/vastgesteld:

Het door de koper te betalen bedrag is per direct opeisbaar. Betaling geschiedt per bank, het is niet mogelijk het rekeningbedrag in contanten te voldoen. Verrekening van eventuele tegenvorderingen is uitgesloten.

3.3. Het is Auction4Good toegestaan om informatie in te winnen omtrent de financiële gegoedheid van een betreffende bieder/koper en deelname aan de veiling door en het sluiten van een overeenkomst met de betreffende bieder/koper afhankelijk te stellen van het stellen van zekerheid voor de te betalen koopprijs (bankgarantie, letter of credit of een andere vorm van zekerheid).

3.4. Bij afrekening op het veilingbureau bestaat de mogelijkheid voor de koper om een verzekering af te sluiten voor het gekochte paard. Een dergelijke verzekering wordt niet door Auction4Good afgesloten.

4. Veilingpaarden; aansprakelijkheid

4.1. De aangeboden paarden in de Veiling zijn geïdentificeerd op afstamming, geslacht, kleur en geboortejaar, zoals deze in de catalogus zijn aangegeven.

4.2. De paarden die via de Veiling verkocht zullen worden, zijn in een periode van maximaal drie maanden voorafgaande aan de Veiling röntgenologisch in orde bevonden. Een gebruikelijke klinische (sportpaarden-)keuring

The amount payable by the buyer shall become payable immediately. Payment is to be made by bank transfer and cash payment of the amount shall not be accepted. Settlement of any counter-claims is excluded.

3.3. Auction4Good is entitled to gather information on the financial situation of a specific bidder/buyer and participant to the Auction and may decide to make the conclusion of an agreement with the relevant bidder/buyer conditional, based on the information obtained and to ask for collateral such as a bank guarantee, a letter of credit or any other collateral)

3.4. During settlement at the Auction office, buyers have the option to conclude insurance for the horse that they purchased. This insurance is not concluded by Auction4Good.

4. Auction horses; liability

4.1. The horses offered in the Auction are identified by origin, sex, color and year of birth, as stated in the catalogue.

4.2. The horses sold through the Auction have found to be in good condition following a radiographic test conducted at least three

heeft ten laatste één week vóór de Veiling plaatsgevonden.

4.3. De veterinaire bevindingen kunnen voorafgaande aan de Veiling op verzoek van de potentiële koper worden ingezien en toegelicht door veilingdierenarts Alfons Geerts, of zijn plaatsvervanger.

4.4. Auction4Good heeft aldus getracht te waarborgen dat er enkel gezonde sportpaarden worden aangeboden op de Veiling, die qua gezondheid ook volledig geschikt zijn voor de sport. Ondanks deze voorzorgsmaatregelen kan Auction4Good er niet voor instaan dat de geveilde paarden ook bij aflevering zowel klinisch als röntgenologisch gezond zijn. Auction4Good kan dan ook niet aansprakelijk worden gesteld door Kopers voor vorderingen uit hoofde van non-conformiteit (of andere rechtsvorderingen die gebaseerd zijn op deze feitelijke grondslag) met betrekking tot de gezondheidstoestand, de prestaties en/of gebruiksdoeleinden van de te veilen paarden.

4.5. Auction4Good is niet aansprakelijk voor schade aan personen of zaken, ontstaan voorafgaand aan, ten tijde van en/of na de Veiling, behoudens indien deze schade het gevolg is van opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid van Auction4Good en daaronder begrepen personen die met leiding van dit bedrijf zijn belast.

5. Afgifte, risico- en eigendomsoverdracht

5.1. Direct na de gunning van een paard gaat het risico met betrekking tot het gekochte paard over op de koper en zijn alle verantwoordelijkheden en aansprakelijkheden, alsmede alle risicofactoren, overgedragen aan de betreffende koper. De koper zal Auction4Good en verkoper vrijwaren voor alle aanspraken van derden ter zake.

5.2. De eigendom van het gekochte paard gaat op de koper over op het moment van afname als

months prior to the Auction. A standard clinical examination (for sport horses) has been completed at the latest one week prior to the Auction.

4.3. Veterinary findings can be provided upon the request of potential buyers prior to the Auction and a more detailed explanation can be provided by Alfons Geerts, the Auction veterinarian, or his substitute.

4.4. Auction4Good has tried to only select healthy sport horses for the Auction. Despite the precautions, Auction4Good cannot ensure all horses to be auctioned are clinical and radio graphically healthy at the time of delivery. Auction4Good cannot be held liable by sellers for claims based on non-conformity of the horse to be auctioned (or any other claim based on this factual background), when it comes to the health of the horse, the performances of the horse and/or the use of the horse.

4.5. Auction4Good cannot be held liable for damages to persons or goods, which arise before, during or after the Auction, except for damages that result from intent or conscious recklessness of Auction4Good and the persons in charge of the company.

5. Release and transfer of risk and ownership

5.1. Immediately after a bid on a horse has been accepted, any risks related to the purchased horse shall be transferred to the buyer and any responsibility and liability, as well as all risk factors are transferred to the respective buyer. The buyer shall indemnify Auction4Good and seller from any claims brought by third parties.

5.2. Ownership of the purchased horse passes to the buyer at the time of release as defined in Article 5.3 of these terms and conditions, but not before the buyer has settled the full purchase amount and any other amounts due to Auction4Good

bedoeld in artikel 5.3 van deze voorwaarden, doch niet eerder dan nadat koper de volledige koopsom en eventuele op grond van niet-nakoming verschuldigde bedragen aan Auction4Good zal hebben voldaan.

5.3. De koper is verplicht het gekochte paard af te nemen op de door Auction4Good/verkoper vastgestelde plaats en tijd en bij gebreke daarvan binnen 5 dagen na afloop van de Veiling. Indien Auction4Good/verkoper daarom verzoekt op vertoon van een deugdelijk legitimatiebewijs. De levering van het gekochte paard vindt plaats door de afname. De afname bestaat uit het door de koper ophalen van het gekochte paard. De afname kan eerst plaatsvinden nadat de volledige koopsom en het overige verschuldigde door de koper is voldaan. Indien de koper de afname weigert of nalatig is met het verstrekken van informatie of instructies noodzakelijk voor de afname, zal het gekochte paard door Auction4Good/verkoper worden weggehaald en worden gestald voor rekening en risico van de koper. De koper is in dat geval verplicht alle aanvullende kosten, waaronder in ieder geval de stallingskosten, aan Auction4Good en/of verkoper te vergoeden.

6. Tekortkomingen (waaronder stalondeugden)

6.1. Indien een koper van oordeel is dat het gekochte paard na feitelijke levering niet aan de overeenkomst beantwoordt, kan de koper hierop geen beroep meer doen indien hij niet binnen drie weken na ontdekking de verkoper (met kopie aan Auction4Good) daarvan op de hoogte heeft gesteld per aangetekende brief.

6.2. Verkoper staat ervoor in dat het door de koper gekochte paard, tenzij voorafgaand aan de verkoop meegedeeld, niet lijdt aan de stalgebreken zoals luchtzuigen, systematisch weven of kribbebijten gedurende een periode van 2x 24 uur na feitelijke aflevering aan de koper.

6.3. Indien een dierenarts, geregistreerd als keuringsdierenarts voor paarden of

resulting from non-compliance.

5.3. The buyer is obliged to take possession of the purchased horse at the place and time as specified by Auction4Good/seller, within 5 days after the Auction and upon presentation of a valid identity document, if requested by Auction4Good/seller. Delivery of the purchased horse takes place by means of its release. Release consists of collection of the purchased horse by the buyer. Release may only take place after settlement of the purchase price in full and any other amount due by the buyer. If the buyer should refuse release or if he/she should fail to provide information or instructions required for the release, Auction4Good/seller shall remove the purchased horse and keep it in stables at the expense and risk of the buyer. The buyer shall then be obliged to compensate Auction4Good/seller for any additional costs incurred, including stabling costs in any event.

6. Shortcomings (including stable vices)

6.1. If a buyer finds that the horse purchased does not conform to the contract description after actual delivery, the buyer shall not be entitled to any recourse if the seller has not been informed thereof by registered letter within three weeks after the discovery (with a copy to Auction4Good).

6.2. The seller warrants, unless notified of such prior to the sale, that the horse purchased by the buyer does not suffer from any stable vices such as cribbing, systematic weaving or wood chewing for a period of 2 x 24 hours after actual delivery to the buyer.

6.3. If a veterinarian, registered as an inspection veterinarian for horses or a horse veterinarian should state in writing that one of the stable vices listed in Article 6.2 was established in his/her expert

paardendierenarts, schriftelijk meedeelt dat één van de in artikel 6.2 genoemde stalgebreken naar zijn deskundig oordeel bestond vóór de datum feitelijke aflevering, heeft de koper het recht de koopovereenkomst te ontbinden. Koper zal in dat geval het gekochte paard zo snel mogelijk retourneren aan verkoper. Tot het moment van aflevering zal koper als goed bewaarder zorgdragen voor het paard. Verkoper zal het paard aanvaarden en binnen 7 dagen na terug levering van het paard de koopprijs exclusief commissietoeslag terugbetalen. Verkoper is niet aansprakelijk voor het vergoeden van verdere schade aan de zijde van de koper. Auction4Good is niet aansprakelijk voor enige schade uit hoofde van de ontbinding. De ontbinding van de koopovereenkomst tast de rechtsgeldigheid van de bemiddelingsovereenkomst tussen Auction4Good en koper niet aan.

7. Geschillen

7.1. Alle geschillen – daaronder begrepen die, welke slechts door één der partijen als zodanig worden beschouwd – welke naar aanleiding van de koopovereenkomst gesloten op de veiling dan wel naar aanleiding van deze veilingvoorwaarden met Auction4Good of verkoper ontstaan, worden beslecht door NAI-arbitrage (Nederlands Arbitrage Instituut te Rotterdam), dan wel in het geval de koper consument is, op diens verzoek overeenkomstig het Burgerlijk Wetboek, door de gewone burgerlijke rechter, in welk geval in eerste aanleg uitsluitend de Rechtbank Oost-Brabant, locatie ‘s-Hertogenbosch bevoegd is.

7.2. Indien de verkoper of Auction4Good een procedure aanhangig wil maken, zal zij indien de koper consument is, hem/haar gedurende een maand in de gelegenheid stellen schriftelijk zijn/haar keuze als bedoeld in artikel 7.1 hiervoor, kenbaar te maken. In geval van een spoedeisend belang (kort geding) kan de verkoper (casu quo Auction4Good) de termijn bekorten tot vijf werkdagen.

Seller will accept the horse and shall within 7 days after the delivery of the horse, pay back the Auction price, excluding the commission charge to buyer. Seller is not liable for compensation of any further damages of the seller. Auction4Good is not liable for any damages refraining from the termination of the purchase agreement. The termination of the purchase agreement does not affect the mediation agreement between Auction4Good and buyer.

7. Disputes

7.1. Any disputes with Auction4Good – including those that are considered as such by only one party – resulting from the purchase agreement concluded at the Auction or following from these Auction terms and conditions, shall be settled by NAI-Arbitration (Dutch Arbitration Institute in Rotterdam), or if the buyer is a consumer as defined in the Dutch Civil Code, in an ordinary civil court upon his/her request, in which case only the Court of First Instance in Oost-Brabant, location ‘s-Hertogenbosch shall be entitled to rule on the matter.

7.2. If the seller or Auction4Good intends to file proceedings and if the buyer is considered to be a consumer, he/she shall be given the opportunity to announce its decision pertaining to Paragraph 7.1 in writing within a period of one month. In the event of an urgent matter (summary procedure), the seller (casu quo Auction4Good) may decide to shorten that period to five business days.
