The idea for the Cacoon was sparked by nature while enjoying a Mexican holiday.

During a jungle trek we came across a colony of Weaver Birds building their tiny hanging nests.

We were immediately struck by their unique beauty. They were so peaceful, so safe and so personal, yet you could hear all the birds still chatting away to each other.

After our long, hot days of trekking we were enjoying some great food and a few margaritas when inspiration struck. A long flight home sketching away followed by months of design development and rigorous testing, our interpretation was complete; the Cacoon.

Environmental FriendlyWoven from 100 % solution dyed olefin yarn. Solution dyeing is a clean manufacturing process as the colour is added before the yarn is extruded. It is friendly to the environment because no dye bath processes are used, eliminating waste effluents, which may pollute air and water. Olefin fabric is 100 % recyclable.

Excellent WeatherabilityResistant to UV damage and fading. Olefin applies excellent ultraviolet blocking agents which protect polymer backbone of the fabric from the effect of UV radiation. Perfect for all outdoor applications.

KAJITO Introducing a totally new style of Deckchair. Hammocks are great but have a few drawbacks. We have never liked the heavy immovable hammock frames and we also know from our Cacoons that even a single hanging point for a chair can often be a problem.

The deck chairs or sunbeds are great too but they have not changed in 100 years. Our only view on this was that the concept could take a bit of spicing up.

Kajito, a new unique folding tensile structure, incorporates the natural shape of leaves and wings with the fabric itself. It’s a great fusion of yacht rigging, bamboo furniture and fabric engineering to very comfortably kick back and relax into.

Kajito, this unique hammock style lounger stretches the possibilities of tensile structure. The fabric shape is inspired by the natural shape of leaves and wings. WARRANTY EXAMPLEWhat is covered? This warranty covers any fabrication defects (in materials or workmanship), not including installation, during normal use of your cacoon.

Normal use is defined in the instruction manual issued with every cacoon and also sewn into the internal seam inside the right-hand edge of the opening. With the exceptions stated tips and tricks.

How Long Coverage Lasts This warranty runs for two years from the date of purchase (proof of purchase required).

What is not covered This warranty does not cover fading or discoloration caused by exposure to sunlight or chemicals such as ammonia, laundry detergent, sea water, or household bleach.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by contact with any surface that will damage the fabric or the internal ring.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused by inappropriate use of the cacoon.

Hang-in-out Design Ltd and all agents and representatives thereof cannot assume responsibility for special, indirect, or consequential damages or contingent liability for use of this product in a manner not expressly intended by the manufacturer.

The end consumer is ultimately responsible for verifying proper installation according to our guidelines herein.

To apply for warranty you must include the following items in your warranty application.1. Photographs which adequately describe the warranty issue.2. Written description of how you think the damage occurred.3. Proof of purchase including date and retailer.4. Product name size and colour.5. Our technical team will assess your application.6. If your application is valid we will replace your cacoon.7. If you application is deemed to have been caused by abnormal wear and tear

and is invalid we may offer to make a repair at your expense.

TIPS AND TRICKS1. Always check that your cacoon and its hanging system are in good

condition and show no signs of damage, wear or tear.

2. Always ensure that you use a suitable knot to tie off your hanging rope and that your chosen hanging point is strong enough to take at least the same weight as you intend to have in the cacoon.

3. Always tether your cacoon when it is not in use.

4. Never exceed the stated load limit or hang the cacoon higher than just above ground level (when fully laden).

5. Never jump into a cacoon or use it as a trampoline or swing – the cacoon is designed for gentle play and relaxation.

6. Never hang your cacoon where it can swing into a vertical surface. You will wear the fabric out around the ring.

7. Never twist or spin your cacoon. It is only designed to hang from the webbing loop without any twists.

8. Always Remove your cacoon from direct sunlight when it is not in use.
