Calcium Carbonate is considered major filler affecting opacity; improving corrosion resis-tance and product’s viscousity in the coating industry. It provides good thixotropy, anti- collapsibility and stability, as well as gives excellent thermo-duration for addhesive and sealand, strengthens pigmentation for inks.

As filler, Calcium Carbonate creates a more uniform surface, improves printability, increas-es brightness, opacity and gloss. As coating agent, it improves optical and surface proper-ties, provides correct coating structure for interaction with ink during printing.
