アクリル酸は、無限に広がる可能性の中で、主に高吸水性樹脂、

粘度調整剤、高分子凝集剤などの原料として利用されています。

また、アクリル酸とアクリル酸エステル、アクリロニトリル、ブ

タジエン、酢酸ビニルとの共重合体は繊維加工などのあらゆる分

野で使用されています。

Acrylic acid is used as the raw material for super-absorbentpolymers, viscosity modifiers, flocculants and so on, among itswide possibilties. Copolymers of acrylic acid, produced forexample using acrylic esters, acrylonitriles, butadienes and vinylacetates, are used for non-woven fabrics, binders for flocky pro-cessing and modifiers for fabrics.

2‐エチルヘキシルの4種類のアクリル酸エステル及び数種の特殊

アクリル酸エステルを保有しています。これらは単独重合体また

は共重合体として、透明性、光沢性、接着性、耐老化性、柔軟性

などの優れた性質を発揮することができますので、アクリル繊維、

繊維加工、塗料、粘接着剤、紙加工、皮革加工、合成ゴムなどの

幅広い分野で使用されています。

Acrylic esters, which include methyl acrylate, ethyl acrylate,butyl acrylate and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, are produced bymeans of esterfication of acrylic acid, and because of their sig-nificant performance such as transparency, gloss, adhesiveproperty and flexibility, the potential applications of acrylicesters are increasing remarkably. Among major applications ofacrylic esters are as raw material for acrylic fiber, textile finish-es, paints, adhesives, paper finishes, leather finishes and syn-thetic rubber.

ACRYL IC ACID and ACRYL IC ESTERS, which can be divided into vinyl andcarboxyl groups, are drawing widespread attention as an environmentallysound raw material for producing high-function polymers and as a solublebase for emulsion paints.

マクロモノマーMACROMONOMER

重合可能な官能基を持つ高分子量のモノマーで、他のモノマーと

共重合することによりホモポリマーの少ないグラフトポリマーが

容易に作れます。このグラフトポリマーは、リニアポリマーでは

発現できない相反する性能（軟／硬、結晶／非結晶、親水／疎水

など）をバランス良く発揮できます。

この効果により、塗料、成形材料、粘着剤、接着剤、離型剤など

の高機能化が可能となります。

MACROMONOMER is a high molecular weight monomerwhose properties allow it to be easily polymeized. This materialcan be polymerized with other monomers to form a graft poly-mer of extremely low homopolymer content.Such a graft polymer offers conflicting properties, such assoft/hard, crystalline/amorphous and hydrophobic/hydrophilicproperties, which cannot be attained with a linear polymer.Thus, application of MACROMONOMER can impart even high-er functions to paints, molding materials, pressure sensitiveadhesives, adhesives and releasing agents.

ARONIX®

アロニックス®は、アクリル系特殊モノマー・オリゴマーの商品

名で、特殊アクリレート・ウレタンアクリレート・ポリエステル

アクリレートの3種類に大別されます。単独あるいは数種のアロ

ニックス®を組み合わせることにより、UVインキ・UV塗料・UV

接着剤等の用途に使用されています。また、高い反応性を利用し

て、架橋剤・改質剤として応用することもできます。

ARONIX® is the brand name of specific acrylic monomers andoligomers produced by TOAGOSEI. ARONIX® is classifiedroughly into three grades-special acrylates, urethan acrylatesand polyester acrylates. ARONIX® is commonly used for UV-curing inks, UV-curing paints, and UV-curing adhesives throughsingle or combined uses of each grade. High reactive disposi-tion of ARONIX® can be applied for other practical applica-tions.

ATBS®Acrylamido Tertiary Butyl Sulfonic Acid

ATBS®は、スルホン酸基を持つユニークなビニルモノマーで、そ

の重合体は、繊維・凝集剤・分散剤・スケールコントロール剤・

抗井用添加剤など幅広い用途に使用されています。重合性が高く、

一般的な方法でアクリロニトリル・アクリル酸・アクリル酸エス

テル・アクリルアミドなどと容易に共重合させることができます。

ATBS®is a functional vinyl monomer of sulfonic acid group.ATBS® polymers are widely used in many industrial applicationssuch as textile treatment, flocculants, pigment dispersants, scal-ing preventives in water treatment systems and drilling-mudadditives. Because of its high reactive disposition. ATBS® caneasily be copolymereized with monomers such as acrylonitriles,acrylic acid, acrylic esters and acrylamides by common radicalpolymerization techniques.
