OAO "Kazanorgsintez"

Open-End Joint Stock Company "Kazanorgsintez" holds the lead in production of plastics, gas PE pipes, synthetic liquid coolants, phenol, acetone, and chemical reagents for crude oil production and natural gas dewatering; a total of 170 chemical products are manufactured. Some 25 per cent of output are exported. All products meet the standards established by state technical committees, and 14 basic products were certified to comply with EU requirements.

As of today, OAO "Kazanorgsintez" owns Russia's largest facilities for production of both high-pressure and low-pressure polyethylene. The bulk of polyethylene is delivered to enterprises of cable industry, building industry, manufacturers of plastic components and consumer goods, packing materials, insulating films, and gas pipes.

Polyethylene is exported to over 30 countries of Europe and Asia, including Hungary, Finland, Austria, Germany, and China.

Open-End Joint Stock Company "Nizhnekamskshina" is the Russia's largest enterprise of tyre industry. Practically every third tyre manufactured in Russia comes from Nizhnekamsk. FGUP Kazan Aircraft Production Association n.a. S.P. Gorbunov Federal State Unitary Enterprise Kazan Aircraft Production Association named after S.P. Gorbunov (KAPO) is an outstanding Russian aircraft-building complex. Established in 1927, the plant and has always been in the forefront of mastering new types of military and passenger aircraft. For over 70 years of its history, KAPO mastered the production of 34 types and modifications of aerospace products, a total of over 18,000 units. KAPO was the first in the world to start the production of jet airplanes: TU-104 with its 26 world records, intercontinental comfortable liners IL-62 and IL-62M - the latter being considered a leader of civil aviation for more than 30 years. Two last decades saw the production of the world's unique hypersonic bomber TU-22MZ and the pride of Russian strategic aviation, TU-160. Yelabuga Motor Works Yelabuga Motor Works is involved in some 40 activities, including metal working, construction, cargo and passenger transportation, communication services, publishing and advertising, design and exploration work, production of building materials, hotel and tourist services. Machine Tool Building Plant operated on the industrial site of GUP RT "PO YelAZ " manufactures components and spares for automotive vehicles, equipment, components and spares thereto for oil producing industry; sophisticated special equipment on automobile chassis for oil producing industry, agricultural sector and timber industry. Machine Tool Building Plant is certified to ISO 9002 and performs all operations in compliance to this Quality Management System. Production Servicing Centre manufactures building materials, including joinery and glued wood blocks, foamed and ready-mixed concrete, paving flags, and performs installation, start-up and adjustment of processing equipment and plumbing and heating facilities. " YelAZ " today is a member and a founder of NAPAK (National Association of Automobile Components' Producers) created in Russia in 2001 with an aim to render assistance in the creation of new facilities. "YelAZ" company enjoys successful cooperation with Russian automotive companies in delivery of spare parts, assemblies and completing parts for VAZ, GAS, and KamAZ vehicles. OOO "D Plast Eftek RT" The joint production was established by Yelabuga Motor Works and Vulkanplast of Czechia in 1999. The basic products are protective anticorrosion automotive mastics based on PVC plastisols applied on the bottom of vehicles and on welding seams. OOO "D Plast Eftek RT" was certified in 2001 to GOST R ISO 9002:1996, and in December 2002 in was certified to GOST R ISO 9001:2001. OOO "Automaster" In February 2000, OOO "Automaster" launched the manufacture of special machinery on the automobile chassis ("KamAZ", "ZIL" and "GAZ", trailers, semi-trailers, and imported vehicles), such as box body trucks, dump trucks, garbage-removal trucks and other special machinery. OOO "ScanTat Alabuga" OOO "ScanTat Alabuga" manufactures large city buses and international-standard tourist buses. The ScanTat bus 5226 "Bars" is assembled on the chassis of KamAZ

-5297 with diesel engine VOLVO PENTA (EURO-2) rated at 203 kW and automatic gearbox manufactured in Kazan by Voith-KMPO.
