Public Joint Stock Company ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is one of the leaders among the largest enterprises of Mining and Steel Complex of Ukraine and part of the international company ArcelorMittal, world steel producer number 1 and one of the largest foreign investors in the country. PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih is a full-cycle steel plant, which consists of the coke and by-product plant, ore mining (open pits and underground ore mining) and steel production which parts are sinter and blast furnace, steel and rolled departments.

PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, one of the biggest rolled steel producers in Ukraine, specializes in long products – rebar and wire rod from ordinary and light alloyed steels, as well as sinter, concentrate, coke, pig iron, steel, section and shape rolled products. Activity of PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih covers production chain from iron ore mining up to finished metal products. In 2014 the enterprise produced 5.6 million tons of pig iron, 6.3 million tons of steel and 5.6 million tons of rolled products.

Product certificationQuality Management System of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih was certificated in 1994 for the first time. The plant received certificate according to ISО 9003. Since 2010 Quality Management System of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 developed by International Technical Committee. In 2012 the plant successfully underwent the compliance audit of Quality Management System according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. In 2013 the recertification of company quality management system according to the requirements of international standard ISO 9001:2008 was passed.

To exercise procedures required to obtain product certificates, a Testing Center is operating at PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, accredited in accordance with the requirements of international standard ISO/IEC 17025. ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih Testing Centre is considered as one of the most equipped in mining and smelting sector of Ukraine. Testing Centre consists of express laboratory of Continuous Casting Machine, chemical laboratory of steel production, express-quantummetric laboratories #1 and #2, laboratory of acceptance testing. Also, laboratory on physic-mechanical testing of refractories is operating in the Testing Centre, that allows to conduct test of product on all stages of its production.

Foundry

At the plant the Foundry production ascends to 1934.At the present time Foundry is the up-to-date complex of shops what allows to manufacture the castings from any grade of steel, iron and bronze by the individual requests.
