VR0413 - Snow King®

The King Collection is divided in to five different varieties

with large, brightly coloured, heart-shaped flowers. The

varieties are all stylish in shape due to their strong, firm

leaves, stems and flowers.

Combined with a dark-

green and shiny leaf,

every plant in this collection

has an elegant and attractive

appearance. Everyone would agree – they are the

kings of the plant world, hence we gave the

collection the name ‘King’.

Five different varieties are available in

red, white, pink and brown.

In 2010 a new collection was introduced. As a member of the Royal

Family, the Prince® collection was added.

This collection contains compact rich flowering plants with large

flowers that can be grown in a small pot 12cm or 14cm, which

is very unique. This group of plants consists of varieties

with very bright colours. This makes the Prince® Collection

a graceful and more than welcome member of the Royal Family

Collection. Six different varieties are available in red,

orange, white and brown.

Each member of this Collection has outstanding flowering

capabilities and a very compact body.

The heart shaped flowers are with its Ø10 cm just a little

VR0796 - Princess Amalia Elegance®PRINCESS AMALIA, PRINCESS ALEXIA and

PRINCESS ARIANE are the three daughters of

the Dutch Crown Prince Willem-Alexander and

Princess Maxima.

Following on from our existing collections

- THE QUEEN, KING AND PRINCE - the names

of these princesses are an appropriate addition.

As a Dutch company, we are highly honoured

to have acquired the TRADEMARK for these

names. The varieties that bear these names are

carefully selected and just like the princesses,

have their own character.

VR0661 - Princess Ariane Pride®

All members of this Princess Ariane® Collection look a lot like

their big sister Amalia® with their small, heart-shaped flowers

(ø 8cm). The Ariane-types are compact, hard plants with an

abundance of flowers. The leaf is strong and shaped like a

triangle: this in contrast with the heart-shaped leaf of

the Amalia® collection.

Within this group of plants only varieties with very bright

colours are selected. They maintain their colour over a long

period of time. This collection contains pot plants as well as

cut flower varieties. Available varieties are: red and orange.

This collection consists of very interesting special varieties with

remarkable flower and spadix colours and shapes which are

unique in the world. Within this group you can find flowers in the

shape of a cigar and flowers with a coral-shaped spadix.

One member of the Specialty® Collection is the Anthurium

Clarinervium®. The structured leaves are beautiful green and silver

white with contrasting veins.

Another variety is the ‘Red Miracle®’ which is bright red with a red

bloomed spadix.

The Love® Collection is one of the first collections developed

by RijnPlant. This collection however, has always been

surprisingly refreshing. It has been popular and trendy

over the last few decades.

This collection combines an excellent growth with a very

long shelf life. These varieties are bushy and rich flowering.

All members such as Fantasy Love®, Lady Love® and Black Love®

have proven themselves to be top class varieties. The available

assortment is: red, pink, black and several multicoloured varieties.

Bougainvillea

The varieties from the Vera® collection as well as the Rijnstar® collection are fantastic houseplants. If the

temperature outside rises above 14°C it is also a plant to freshen up your terrace or balcony, in particular

the varieties of the BOUGAINVILLEA VERA® collection with their colourful flower bunches. A strong

collection with improved durability that keeps its intense colour over a long period.

The BOUGAINVILLEA RIJNSTAR® varieties bloom in large bunches, are very strong and keep their

flowers even in extreme circumstances. After 50 days the flowers still have their intense colour. These large

tulip-shaped flowers combined with this unique characteristic are a step forward in the possibilities for

Bougainvilleas.

In 2011 we entered the market with the compact version of the exotic HELICONIA®. Originally from South

America, now available as a 75-100cm houseplant. Under the right conditions the Heliconia can have 3 to 5

flowers all year round. The slender shaped flowers have a mixture of fresh and bright colours, often with dark

green flower tips. The exotic collection is available as young plant and suitable to grow in 17, 19 and 21cm

pots.

Pot plant varieties

Young plant products are produced by growing a single plant

in a 2.6cm paper pot to a size of 7-9cm. Plants in a small plug

can only be replanted directly to their final pot in case the final

pot size is max. 12cm diameter. When the final pot size will be

above 12cm diameter, the plants must be grown for another

three month period in a 7-9cm plug or pot.

RijnPlant can take over the job of the grower to replant to

a larger plug size. Two or three young plants will be further

grown in a 7cm plug until they reach a size of 20-25cm. From

a 7cm plug the plants can be replanted to larger pot sizes.

Cut flower varieties

Young plant products are produced by growing a single plant

cannot be directly planted in the cultivation bed, but need to

be further grown in a small pot until they reach a size of 20-

40cm.

RijnPlant can take over the job of the grower to replant to a

small pot. One plug will be replanted to a 9cm pot filled with

a rock wool substrate. Depending on the wishes of the grower

the plants can be delivered in a size of 20-25cm or 30-40cm.

The plants can be planted immediately in the cultivation bed.
