Material: Polylactic acid, PLA or C-PLA for short, is a bioplastic made from plant starch. PLA is degradable and much more environmentally friendly. The production of bioplastics is only slightly different from the production of common petroleum plastics.

Application: Thesebiodegradableplasticsareespeciallywelcomeinthefieldofmedical technology, or for the production of disposable tableware, such as beverage cups, cutlery, etc. The material is suitable for contact with food, but is not suitable for microwave ovens because of its temperature range which is from -20 °C to +40 °C, for C-PLA it is -20 to +70 °C.

Storage: Dry storage at max. 30 ° C, beware of direct sunlight (material could deteriorate).

Disposal: Industrial composting or municipal waste.

Material: The sugar cane plant belongs to the grass family. Our dishes are made from stems and leaves (ie from residual materials) by pressing. The stems have a diameter of 20 to 45 mm and reach a height of up to 5 m. The plants grow within one year. They are 100% biodegradable, compostable and without any chemical treatment.

Application: Disposable sugar cane products themselves, not only from a biological point of view, show incredible properties of use. They are stable, have a smooth finesurface,aresuitableforcontactwithfood,forashorttime(max.5min.), are suitable for a microwave oven. Temperature range -40 to +180 °C.


Disposal: Home composting, brown BIO bins or municipal waste.
