F94 .22wra Winchester Mod 03 Semi-auto Rifle R 1450.00

S/N 85376 ca. 1914.Only works with the .22 Auto cartridge. A clean example of

the genre. The sling swivels are not factory issue. Nor is the very desirable tang

peep-sight. The stock has a crack at the top tang.

F95 .22 Winchester Mod 03 Semi-auto Rifle R 1450.00

S/N 604363, Manuf.1910. For the .22 Winchester Auto cartridge only. Ten shot

tubular magazine in the butt, cocking rod at the front of the forearm. Tapered

fitted on a low mount. A desirable little .22 auto. Good to very good original

condition.

F97 .22wrf Winchester Mod 61 Rifle R 1250.00

S/N 48332. Take-down pump action model for the .22WRF cartridge only. 24"

tapered octagonal barrel, pretty good bore. Mechanically sound, but stock needs

tidying, plus small chip at the trigger guard needs fixing.

F98 .22lr Winchester Mod 62A Rifle R 2950.00

S/N 149440, Manuf.1942. Take-down pump action. Replacement for the old

Model 1890 slide-action. Round tapered 23" barrel, reasonable bore. Takes

short, long and long rifle ammunition. Excellent condition.

F99 9mmRF Winchester Mod 36 Shotgun R 750.00

Not serially numbered, made from 1921-1929, 25,781 made. Interesting

example of a "garden gun". A now long-obsolete cartridge which is just as well

as the bore of the 17 1/2" barrel is much pitted. The outside of the barrel exhibits

the patina only many passing years imparts. The one piece walnut stock shows

sanding marks. Fair to good overall.

F100 12ga Winchester Mod 1911 Shotgun R 950.00

S/N A50530. 28" barrel with 3/4 choke, metalwork has been stripped of finish.

Action is cocked by holding the barrel at the knurled section and pushing

downwards until the bolt locks back. The trigger-catch of this one is faulty and

releases immediately. NO ATTEMPT TO FIRE THE GUN SHOULD MADE

UNTIL THIS IS FIXED! The Model 11 was not a Winchester success story, and

was prone to splitting stocks.

F101 .44-40 Winchester M1873 Rifle - Third model Pre-1898 R 12500.00

Serial no. 51233XX, manufactured 1897.Octagonal 24,25" with "Afrika" express

sights and folding ring front sights. Barrel marked ".44 W.C.F" . Straight wrist &

steel buttplate to walnut stock. Relatively good bore. Rifle is a scarce "Afrika"

model in good working order, crisp markings, metalwork reblued.

F102 .410 British "Walking Stick" Shotgun R 2250.00

This one needs the trigger spring replaced, else it fires on closing. The 25,5"

barrel needs a muzzle plug.

F103 .410 British "Walking Stick" Shotgun R 2850.00

In its own leatherslip. The 25 1/2" tube is somewhat pitted, but with the 2" or

21/2" cartridge should be more than strong enough. On no account should the 3"

magnum cartridge be used! Good condition.

Page 40: CATEGORY A ~ COLLECTABLES 46 Catalogue.pdf · A8 Deactivated 7,62mm FN/R1 Service Rifle ... CATEGORY A ~ COLLECTABLES Classic Arms ... Fero Z-51-H Zeiss Electro night vision scope

F104 .410 British" Walking Stick" Shotgun R 3150.00

The best example, the bore is good and there is a sensible muzzle plug, easily

removed to fire the gun. Rotate the brass ferrule until the trigger appears. Barrel

is 26 1/2" and in fairly good shape though the ban on 3" Magnum cartridges

remains! Good condition.

F105 .410 British "Walking Stick" Shotgun R 2450.00

This version unscrews for loading. Pitting in the bore. The tight leather cover is a

good idea, but some provision should be made to cover the muzzle. Pulling on

the length of chain should fire the gun, but the hammer spring needs replacing.

F106 .410 British "Walking Stick" Shotgun R 2750.00

The 25 1/2" barrel shows some pitting and should NOT be used with the 3"

Magnum cartridges and the 2" would be better than the 2 1/2". The add-on

skeleton stock would give a poacher that much more of a chance at a roosting

bird! Fairly good condition.

F107 .22long FN Rifle R 500.00

Single shot bolt action. 23 5/8" (60cm) round tapered barrel with a good bore,

iron sights. Quite a good stock, but with small, fixable, crack on RHS of action.

Modern recoil pad fitted, main stock bolt a replacement. Good condition.

F108 360/16ga Drilling Combination R 4500.00

The 27 3/8" (70cm) smoothbore tubes are in a reasonable shape. The rifle barrel

exhibits some pitting but has plenty of rifling. Action to barrels lock-up is

reasonably tight. The top-rib has "Ferd Nortahl Larvik" inlaid in silver. A small

ladder sight in the rib allows for the rifle shots. The back-action hammer locks

show typical Germanic game scenes and most of the metalwork shows light

scroll engraving. The stock and forearm show wear to chequering. The proof

marks are of Liege, Belgium.

F109 .410 F.Doumoulin & Co. Liege Shotgun R 1450.00

Typical "Poachers" folding gun. Turned into a non-folding sporter! The 27 1/2"

barrels are both full choked and both show light pitting with plenty of wall

thickness. Lock-up to the polished action is tight. The walnut is of good colour

and though straight-grained, has a bit of figure. LOP is 15"and 14" respectively,

the thick pad taking up at least 1/2". Very good external condition.

F110 .410 S/S "Poachers" Shotgun R 1650.00

Another Belgian .410 double folding gun. The bores of the 24 1/2" (62cm)

barrels are very lightly pitted and both are full choked. Typical tiny forend is fitted

and the walnut stock appears to be a replacement. It is not chequered. The

polished action contrasts with the barrels which have lost a lot of their bluing.

Good condition overall.

F111 .22 Hi-Power Savage M99 Sporting Rifle R 3250.00

Lever-action with rotary magazine. The 22" barrel has iron sights fitted and a

fairly good bore. Action is drilled and tapped for scope bases and has a cocking

indicator. Plain straight-grained walnut is fitted, a metal butt plate finishes it off.

Good overall condition.

F112 7x64mm Mauser custom Rifle R 27500.00

Reputedly built by the late Jurie Majoor. M98 action by Mauserwerke, Obendorf,

Octagonal ribbed 26" barrel by Boehler Rassant with excellent bore. Iron sights

are fitted as well as scope bases and rings. The well-figured stock has a Monte-

Carlo cheekpiece, black tip and is expertly chequered to 22 LPI. The LOP is 14"

to a black rubber butt pad. Adjustable trigger, low-scope safety. Very good to

excellent condition.

to three times the estimated price.

F114 .25 HV R. Mueller Sporting Rifle R 4500.00

Round 25" tapered barrel has a good bore and is marked "R. Mueller, Cape

Town" and "Cal .25 H.V. ; Krupp Steel, Made in Germany" . The bolt-action is

interesting. Magazine plate is marked "D.R.P" , next line " D.R.G.M." and then

"US Patent". The chamber is not that big a diameter for the claimed .25 HV.

Stock is nicely coloured plain walnut. Small chequering panels at the pistol grip

about 22LPI. Cartridge appears to be similar to .25/20 single-shot. Very good

condition.

F115 7x57mm Mauser M88 Sporting Rifle R 3950.00

need a do-over, especially the chequering. LOPs are 14 5/8" front trigger, 13

5/8" rear. Leather case.
