Christmas Eve Choir

Every year we assemble and rehearse a children’s choir for the 5:00 pm Christmas Eve Mass. We sing a variety of Christmas carols and have opportunities for solo and small group singing as well. Please sign up at their first rehearsal on November 24 in the church.

KOLBE HOUSE ADVENT EMAIL RETREAT

The Jail Ministry of the Archdiocese of Chicago, invites you to participate in our annual Advent email retreat that starts on November 30, 2015.

Pope Francis has proclaimed that the Jubilee of Mercy will start on December 8, 2015. Its theme is Merciful Like the Father. The Jubilee of Mercy will center on the corporal and spiritual works of Mercy. As one Church we believe and profess that no one can be excluded from the mercy of God. Every week we will share our experiences of jail ministry and offer our reflections. In this retreat, you will look at the works of mercy through the lens of the jail ministry. You will do works of mercy in whatever situation you find yourself now. This retreat will help unite you to the Jubilee Year.
