VOCATIONS SUNDAY Today is Vocations Sunday. Pray to the Lord to send out labourers into the harvest.

Heavenly Father,

We thank you for the witness and ministry

of the bishops, priests and deacons and

consecrated men and women in the

Archdiocese of Birmingham.

Continue to send labourers into the

harvest.

Inspire the hearts of your people to

answer your call to the priesthood, the

diaconate and to the religious life.

Bless our families with a spirit of

generosity and may those you call have

the courage to give themselves to your

Church in faith.

Send your Holy Spirit upon me to guide

me in my own Vocation.

Enlighten my mind to show me what you

want of me;

fill my heart with determination to answer

your call in faith, hope and love.

We ask this through Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Amen

If you are wondering if God is calling you to religious life and would like to find out more why not come along? You are welcome to stay for the weekend or just come along on Saturday for the day. There will be opportunity for prayer, reflection and input, chance to ask questions and to meet others who are also wondering where God is calling them. For more information contact Sr Lynne fcJ at [email protected] or visit our website www.fcjsisters.org

PLANNED GIVING DRIVE UPDATE Due to the success of the planned giving drive and the volume of forms received, completed standing order mandates are still being processed. If you requested a start date for your standing order of April or early May there is a possibility the form may not have reached the bank in time for the start date. If this is the case the banks usually start the standing order from the following month. Similarly, requests for envelopes are still being processed. Apologies for any inconvenience these delays may cause.
