CATIA Composer Player is a free interactive 3D engine that distributes high performance CATIA Composer content to any end-user. More than a simple viewer, CATIA Composer Player offers content consumers the ability to interact directly with product deliverables for more engaging product-based 3D experience Each installation of the CATIA Composer Player includes a standalone player, an ActiveX player, and a plug-in for Adobe Acrobat Reader. With three high performance application delivery options, the CATIA Composer Player offers the power and flexibility to deliver engaging CATIA Composer content where and when you need it.

CATIA Composer Player Pro extends upon CATIA Composer Player features with a powerful application programming interface. With nearly unlimited custom programming capabilities around the ActiveX player, advanced functionalities can be enabled such as the ability to query, manipulate, interact, and display CATIA Composer. Additionally, CATIA Composer Player Pro applications can be combined with data originating from external sources for even richer 3D experience.

It is also possible to maintain local file persistence using CATIA Composer Player Pro. Once the proper permissions have been granted, users can capture valuable feedback on an interactive scene using comments, labels, and annotations. Changes can then be “saved” to preserve markups and modifications for further review.
