10 Questions with

Jetta Cruz

1. When did you become interested

in modeling?

I became interested in modeling after I

went through a life change I had a growth

removed in my left ovary tested to be

cancer , prepared for cancer and at the

removal and test results came back non

cancerous I decided this is my second

chance at life I have high risks for cancer

I’ve had full hysterectomy all at 27 years

old , so I started to follow the large plus size

movement and said why can’t i do it I love

clothing , making other woman feel beautiful

.. I auditioned for a wal mart commercial

casted in denver out of a la agency my

husband said you should do it and I test shot

and I got the call I was cast ...... Filming and

having my make up done up made me relies

I wanted to model I felt amazing and my

journey began.....

2. Where did you want to go to become

the best?

where does anyone want to go when they

strive to be the best to the top would be

great , I don’t put limits in my growth ...

I strive to be a face that made a great

mark on the plus size modeling industry

movement to work with top photographers

or Designers show the world curve are

beautiful at any size...

3. What is your life outside of modeling?

My life outside of modeling , running our

Business , Editor in Chief of Cattura Mag ,

All while running a house hold , raising kids,

& striving to be an amazing wife...

4. At what age did your career start?

I like to call it a journey full of experiences

has been a blessing in it’s self I started

shooting and networking which is a job

in it’s self I follow many plus size models

, agency’s which helped me ... A great

friend Cathryn sent me in the direction

of Fashion Plush Libian Plus Size Clothing

on Amazon.com to review clothing and

I did well they followed my shoots and

offers me to be they’re libian Plus Size

Model for the website launch in Fall..

Also was given big shoes to fill and such

a huge honor as Editor In Chief of

Cattura Vanity Mag which has been a

great learning experience .

5. Why are you doing modeling?

I’m not going to be everyone’s cup of

tea , I know this but I’m not really fazed

with rejection . I am doing this for the

empowerment myself and others not for

the acceptance of others..

6. What do you see for your future?

I’m not one to look to the future or the past

I stay in the present take each day as it

comes ... With my health issues & journey in

modeling I learn it is what it is , everything

happens for a reason when it’s ment to

happen ... It will... I wish only to believe I will

make a mark on this industry ....

7. What is your motivation?

Every day I wake up to a beautiful family

and life that inspire me to strive for my

dreams . I follow many woman who are

with us on earth and some I learn about

in books ... I’m a classic era lover when

woman were beautiful not sexy or hot.... I

hope to show a world of woman that were

beautiful at any curve .. Inspire a mother to

jump into her dreams beCause she can...

8. What do you love to madel most?

I love to model dresses they are so feminine

and fit your body like a glove ...

9. who is your favorite designers ?

My taste of designer fashion

is so vast .. I will always love

Chanel,YSL,Dior,Gucci,Versace ..

They all bring something to the

table beautiful , Tasteful and always

leave you wanting more.
