The Dubai Mall is the world’s largest shopping mall based

on total area and includes 1,200 shops. The Dubai Mall

hosted over 65 million visitors in 2013, and continued to

hold the title of ‘The world’s most-visited shopping and

leisure destination’ spread over 502,000m2 of indoor

retain area, with 14,000 parking spaces.

COFELY BESIX was awarded a three year contract to

undertake the operations and maintenance of the

electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems of the mall. At

team of around 140 technicians, engineers and managers

work seven days a week, 24-hours a day to ensure the mall

is maintained to world-class standards.

In this extremely demanding environment, COFELY BESIX

provides an effective, seamless and unobtrusive daily

reactive, corrective and preventive maintenance to the

complex facility.
