Why does CBME need a mascot?

• To create a unique identity to the show and stand apart from the crowd.

• The words C B M E are iconic and unique but don’t engage with the TG

• Community Engagement is a must to create brand awareness

• A character speaks to the TG and communicates and engages with them.

• Animal mascots are effective because most people, regardless of age, find animals cute or endearing.

Why a Panda?• Easily recognisable character• Found in China & CBME originates from China• Has lot of forms in terms of character – Toys, apparels &

brand licensing• Examples – Kung Fu Panda, Jing Jing for Olympics in China

• KIDS Fashion Show – PANDA Mascot will walk with the Show Stopper in the end on the ramp.
