If you’d prefer to wait until the sun goes down and the zombies come out, SCarowinds is a separately-gated event recommended for ghosts and goblins ages 13 and older. At this much darker and much more chilling attraction, guests can clock in for the Graveyard Shift, attend Homecoming at Zombie High, audition for a role at Silver Scream Studios – or do all three! These SCarowinds features are sure to get the heart pumping, bones shaking and goose bumps rising.

• NEW! SLAUGHTERHOUSE: THE FINAL CUT: Back by popular demand, the famously bloody SlaughterHouse with a new twist! Take a tour of Red Ribbon Meats to discover a prime cut that’s a little more personal than guests can ever imagine.

• NEW! SKELETON CREW: Talented performers do the unthinkable in this high-flying, acrobatic caper that will have guests paralyzed in amazement.

• NEW! ROCKTOBERFEST: Enjoy the sounds of scorchin’ vocals and screamin’ guitars as a local Charlotte band performs 70s & 80s rock music nightly in Harmony Hall.

• SILVER SCREAM STUDIOS: Want to star in a movie? Audition for a role in the most daunting horror flick ever made!

SCarowinds operates on select nights beginning Friday, September 18 – Saturday, October 31 beginning at 7p.m. Guests can also purchase a Haunt Pass and receive unlimited admission to SCarowinds. No costumes or masks are permitted at this event.

Whatever the level of thrill you desire, you can find it this year at Carowinds! For a complete list of attractions and details on the Great Pumpkin Fest and SCarowinds, visit the Carowinds event page.
