WHAT IS “C.C.C” ?
Community Cleaning Club (CCC) is an activity to create environmental awareness & to
raise environmental consciousness among the public, mainly on cleanliness. It’s basically the mass cleaning activity in the neighborhoods which leads to simple activity such as
picking up rubbish.
WHY “C.C.C”?
1.We have to be clear that our main objective here is not to replace the ‘Majlis
Perbandaran’ job.
2.This activity is basically a ‘BRIDGE’ for many more ‘Human Values’ related activities in the centre neighborhood as its simple, easy to be organized & leaves a great impact to
the society.
3. As a SAI CENTRE, we have to be seen as a ‘community centre’ and activities such as
‘CCC’ would create great platform of interaction & integration with the community as its
more of a ‘ gotong-royong’ concept.
HOW CAN “CCC” RAISE THE ENVIRONMENTAL CONSCIOUSNESS
1.If we do it among our SAI crowd, it would just another seva but if we could extend the
invitation to the public, as per below :
A ) Schools, Colleges & Education institutions around the targeted area.
B ) Resident associations
C ) Societies, Clubs or even any other organizations.
We are indirectly getting more hands involved in this service activity, building our
relationship with the community around our centres as well as helping ourselves & the public to raise the environmental consciousness
