CONGRATULATIONS, 2014 GRADUATES!

COMMUNITY CONNECTIONSThis past quarter, Connects Federal Credit Union had a great time participating in the Chamber picnic, Schmooza Palooza, as well our 17th year at the Mechanicsville Relay for Life, where we raised $1,044 for the American Cancer Society!

THE 5TH ANNUAL

For the 5th year in a row, Connects Federal Credit Union helped our community residents “get connected” to health and wellness through our Annual Connects Corporate 4 Miler. This event, was held on June 5th this year, provides us with the opportunity to showcase our commitment to a healthy lifestyle while letting participants know that we can help them with financial health too. We were pleased with the amazing turnout at this year’s event! 260 corporate teams with 4467 participants joined us after work on this gorgeous Thursday evening to run, walk, bond and party! There were 92 team tents set up, and in all, Connects showed up with a team of 90 people, including staff, friends and family!

We were so excited to have our friends from Verizon join us with their first team ever, consisting of five participants, and to see HCA grow even bigger, as they do each year, with over 280 participants!

Thanks to Atlee High School Girls Lacrosse, Stonewall Middle School Softball, and Connects staff, family, and friends for volunteering to work the water stops!
