The Sensory Cueing Wristwatch (SCW-V2) is an innovative portable device to be worn on the paretic upper limb. It will emit sensory signals consecutively at a predetermined level to remind the client to respond and initiate movement. Previous studies prove that it is effective in promoting patients to aware of the hemiplegic side and increasing upper limb movements. With this user-friendly device, patients can undergo training at home every day. 一個簡單但有用的方法 - 增強中風患者腦半球受損之專注力及改善患側上肢活動能力

偏身忽略是腦中風偏癱患者中常見的現象,患者會忽略或不注意偏

癱的一側。

另外,很多長期中風患者由於患手活動不理想,會有放棄使或不使

用患手的情況,令患手康復減緩。

感知提示是透過戴在患者患手的手錶儀器發出,手錶會發出感覺

信號(例如震動或聲響),並且以預先設定的時間發出信號提示給患

者。研究證實感知提示能有效減低中風後偏身忽略及手部不使用的

情況,誘發患側上肢在日常生活中之使用,從而令患者手部及整體

功能得以改善。
