Mine Operation Update

Eastern area

Shaping and topsoil addition continuing

Preparation for planting of trees and grass

Continuing to crush on western side of eastern mound

Western MPL

Topsoil removal continuing will be completed by mid May

The accessible topsoil mound has been sown with sterile rye grass onto

Topsoil sample submitted for testing and results received for future comparison, sampling continuing

Overburden being placed and shaped first stage of levelling

Surface water retention basin in place, directional irrigation to silt traps

Chasing NRM Board approval of Jaeckeli Ck Management Plan

Later loading time of train loading has commenced

Noise Abatement Initiatives

Noise monitoring program at Penrice Rd residents complete, Penrice to meet with residents and discuss

Trial delayed start Train loading – 0730am start Monday to Friday – 0800hrs start Saturday and Sunday

Two trains on Thursday 9th and Friday 17th for Easter and Vintage Festival

Site Noise Monitoring by Bassett Acoustics will be undertaken in June and reported in July.
