WHO WE AREWith a mission to be the premier building science firm in Canada, CCI Group Inc. (CCIG) provides consulting engineering services that cover all stages of the building lifecycle, from the initial environmental and property condition assessment to design and inspection during construction to pre-demolition and decommissioning.

Our heritage dates back to 1972, when the first of CCIG’s predecessor companies formed to offer testing and inspection to the construction industry. We’ve grown over the years to become a national, multi-disciplinary engineering firm that offers a wide-range of services to private and public sector clients, including developers, REITs, building portfolio owners, property managers, condominium corporations, architects, contractors and government agencies. With a commitment to deliver successful, high-quality projects, our experience helps find an innovative solution to any challenge, regardless of the project size.

We are active members in industry associations across the country. We’re regular contributors to association publications and conferences, and we’re always willing to share our experience and expertise on a variety of subjects. We have consulted on legislative changes in the industry, as well as the development of new standards and rating systems.

We’ve also been recognized for both our corporate social responsibility and our success. In 2012, we were named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies, an award that recognizes Canadian-owned and managed companies for demonstrating strategy, capability and commitment to achievable growth. In 2015, we were named one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies Gold Standard, the next level in this nationally recognized award.

Our Experience and Expertise

Our knowledge comes from working on more than 50,000 projects during our storied history. We have carried out a wide range of investigations and construction reviews, and have prepared specifications for repairs to roofs, exterior walls, mechanical/electrical systems, windows, balconies and parking garages. Our expertise ranges from new construction, such as high-rise condominium towers and office buildings, to existing construction, especially concrete towers built in the past fifty to sixty years.

We have served as prime consultant on numerous projects over the years, and we are adept at coordinating with other project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.

Restoration & Project ManagementRelying on our decades of experience, our team assesses deterioration and damage and creates remedial repair solutions.
