CCNPWT provides a Closed Sterile & Moist Wound healing environment
- Reduces bacterial burden
- Reduces oedema
- Enhances dermal perfusion
- Promotes micro angiogenesis
- Stimulates cell proliferation
- Promotes granulation tissue formation.
- Studies suggest mechanical stretching may result in increased mitosis (Cell Replication) Controlled Negative Pressure Therapy decreases wound volume approximating wound edges, helps uniformly draw wounds closed
- Promotes continuous wound debridement by removing wound micro debris & bacteria colonized wound output / interstitial fluid allowing tissue decompression
- Protects wound from re-infection, cross infection or spreading further infection
- Promotes Skin Graft/Flap uptake (The sterile flexible foam dressing gently presses the skin graft or flap ensuring full contact with the wound bed & simultaneously removes wound output ensuring moist healing environment)

TROUBLE SHOOTING
PRESSURE NOT ACHIEVING TO TARGET PRESSURE
Unplug the filter tube and clamp & see Actual Pressure = Target Pressure if OK
If NOT Check the VACUUM PORT Connector or it could be a machine problem
Proceed to Next Step
Unplug the other end of the filter and clamp & see if Actual Pressure = Target Pressure if OK
If NOT, possibly filter is malfunctioning
Proceed to Next Step
Clamp the Canister tube & see Actual Pressure = Target Pressure if OK
If NOT, possibly canister is leaking or faulty.
Proceed to Next Step
Connect the dressing tube with the canister tube & Clamp the dressing tube & see Actual Pressure = Target Pressure if OK
If NOT, possibly the canister & dressing tube joint is leaking or not properly connected.
then CHECK DRESSING SEAL
ERROR – NO DISPLAY
Check the MAINS Cable / POWER
Cable is connected to the power
socket & is switched ON.
See the POWER SWITCH in the

ERROR : BLOCKAGE / CANISTER FULL
Ensure the canister gets replaced between 450ml -500ml accumulation of fluid
or this may choke the filters or even can damage the system pump (if continued further or for longer period).
IF canister is not full remove the filter tube & run the system.
IF OK, then connect the filter & CHECK for any blockage in the filter.
IF OK connect the canister without connecting the dressing tube to CHECK any tube blockage or tube folds/kink.
IF OK, there could be drainage tube blockage or mismatch hole with the dressing/drape sealed.
Check with a needle prick in the dressing (Close to Drainage Tube junction point).
