This well correlation is from southern to northern part. between W9C1, Sikao-1 and Singa Besar well. Two well penetrated up to basement comprise of volcanic/metamorphic rock. The conglomerate at the half-graben and basin centre indicate the early phase of rifting. Carbonates growth in the basement horst and shelf margin Baong and Keutapang sediments thickening to the basinal indicate the sediment supply is coming from Malaysian side.

This is the chronostratigraphic chart of seismic section from NW to SE. We generate this chronostratigraphic chart by integrating seismic section and well correlation. During Oligocene to Early Miocene, the basin was filled by syn-rift sediment at depocentre and carbonates growth at the shelfal area. In Middle Miocene, Baong sand is backstepping indicates sea level rise then in Upper miocene Keutapang formation, the sand is prograding due to the drop of sea level. Turbidite fan is found in basinal area. Seurula has almost same thickness indicate quite environment.

We generate this chronostratigraphic chart by integrating seismic section and well correlation. Summary

Potential Play/Sub-Play for Baong and Keutapang are ranked as 1. Shallow Marine (Carbonate & Clastics) 2. Coastal Sand 3. Slope Fan Turbidite

CRS Maps indicate

• Risky source in the basin margin especially in Melaka Platform and Mergui Shelf in the eastern margin

• Reservoir developed in basin margin and proximal slope area. Towards the basin centre no apparent reservoir developed

• The seals rock occurred in the deeper part of the basin, and thin progressively toward the platform and shelf area

• Most part of the basin has been risked as having medium risk and the risky area identified in the basin centre area and less risky in basin margin area

The established play risk workflow can be applied for risking and ranking of

potential plays in the cross border area
