LOCATION OF CLAIMS AND KEY MAPS
Claims 45259441 and 4246804 assessed are each two-unit claims in a block of contiguous
claims located about 10 km north of the Town of Larder Lake on the Larder Lake Station
Road. The Map: LAWRENCE CLAIMS IN MCVITTIE TOWNSHIP shows the layout within the
township.

OF LARDER LAKE show the larger area.

CLAIMS RELATIVE TO TOWN OF LARDER LAKE
GEOGRAPHY, GEOLOGY & HISTORY
(My understanding of these topics has not changed since the previous report – but the
section is included nevertheless)
GEOGRAPHY
The main geographic features of the claim area are:
1 - A series of four hills which start north of Crosby Lake and extend northwest to Gem
Lake. The hilltops are about 100 meters higher than the 300 meter elevation of Crosby
Lake. The hills are predominately tree covered. There are several large outcrops near the
hilltops
2 - Crosby Lake and Lemieux Lake,
3 - Low conifer swamp areas in the MNR reserves (W-LL-C1632a, W-LL-P1632) and around
the northeast shore of Crosby Lake,
4 - Low areas and ponds extending north of Crosby Lake past the west side of Lemieux
Lake, and
-
5 - Hills southwest of Crosby Lake. The hilltops are about 50 meters higher than the 300
meter elevation of Crosby Lake. The hills are predominately tree covered.
6 - In Claim 4259441, north of the creek flowing from the west into Monocle Lake, the
vegetation is mainly poplar, maple and spruce and overburden is sandy loam which is
rarely deeper than 50 cm.
7 – The south half of Claim 4246804 is wooded with spruce, poplar and alder. The
elevation gently increases from 310 meters to 320 meters to the southeast.
GEOLOGY
In general terms the bedrock geology is as follows:
1 - Gabbro and coarse gabbro on the four hills northwest of Crosby Lake;
2 - East of these same hills, the bedrock is basalt and metavolcanic rock;
3 - Northeast, near Lemieux Lake, the rocks are andesite and basalt in outcrops of lava;
4 - East of Lemieux Lake, small syenite intrusions in what is otherwise mainly basalt, and
5 - West of Crosby Lake and north of Monocle Lake, basalt hills with some outcrops which
contain metamorphic schist.
6 - In Claim 4259441, the hill north of the creek from the west is largely basalt and
metamorphic schist.
7 – The south half of Claim 4246804 is largely basic volcanic and chlorite schist.
HISTORY
The Larder Lake area has been the subject of prospecting and mining since
1907. The area examined in this report had been previously (1930s 1940s) a
portion of a KIR-VIT patent claim and about 100m north of claim 4259441 north
boundary extensive work, including a shaft , had been done. I have seen no
evidence of work in claim 4259441. In claim 4246804, although staked and line-
cut dozens of times, there seems to have been little work other than possible
trenching and one sandpit.

ASSESSMENT WORK SEPTEMBER 2011
13 SEPTEMBER 2011
I expected that the shear zone shown on the J E Thomson map in ARM 50b from 1941
extends south to the pond west of Monocle Lake (as above). My first point visited was a
large schist outcrop at N363 where I took samples and photos.
PHOTO 1: Schist outcrop at N363.
I then followed the ATV trail from the west boundary of Claim 4259441 east to the pond
and then followed the Old Larder Station Road south to an outcrop of schist on a hillside.
With the exception of the last point, the ground was low and marshy.

14 September 2011
On 14 September 2011 I started at an outcrop on the south side of a marsh crossing the
Larder Station Road southwest of Monocle Lake where fallen trees have exposed
basalt/schist outcrops. This formation extends to the south boundary of the claim and
beyond. I interpret this outcrop as an edge of sunken metamorphic rock in the marsh
area.

15 September 2011
On 15 September 2011 I prospected in the south portion of Claim 4246804 in an area that
the ARM 50b map showed a shear zone. Outcrops were noted and samples taken.
The prospecting maps and logs below show the actual work.

SAMPLES
I collected twelve rock samples and one mud sample during the prospecting. One
sample, N363 was sent for Au and Multi-Element Analysis. The table below shows the
Multi-Element result. Au was not found. The complete reports are on pages 24 & 25.
MULTI-ELEMENT RESULTS FOR ROCK SAMPLE N363
The rock types and collection locations are in the table SUMMARY OF SAMPLES. The
samples are now stored at my home in Wellington ON.

SUMMARY OF SAMPLES
FINDINGS AND CONCLUSIONS
Everything encountered, sampled and assayed corresponds with the ARM50B Map done
by J E Thomson in 1941, the rock types correspond and the map shear zones show the
evidence of hydrothermal activity, and although I think there are gold deposits at depth
I was unable to find the evidence that would induce investors to spend a few hundred
thousand dollars on a drilling program.
ADMINISTRATION
Overall I worked in the field for 30 hours.
I made one return trips from Wellington Ontario to Larder Lake to perform the assessment
work. The roundtrip and local travel is a distance of about 1600 km. While working in
McVittie Township I stayed in the Country Motor Inn at a cost of $56/night and ate meals
in the local restaurant. I have used a transportation cost of $0.50/km.
