Ad Insertion + Anti Adblocking SolutionAd Insertion enables replacement of air one-fits-all commercials by more personalized ones on the fly. Original TV stream contains ad marks (SCTE-35 or DTMF). Based on these, we replace original stream ads with targeted Internet ones. Currently our solution supports streams in HLS format.

This solution also works well for regional content insertions.

Ad Insertion is a server-side solution that can work in different players, including native ones (e.g. Apple’s video player for mobile). However, the player needs to support HLS tags, particularly, EXT_X_DISICONTINUITY.

We make ad insertions invisible to AdBlockers as there are no requests or alerts that they might detect. Advertising blocks are built directly into the original stream, their HLS segment names have the same format.
