Technology on Infrared & Optical Touch

InfraredTechnology

Optical CameraTechnology

Infrared technology relies on theinterruption of an infrared light grid infront of the display screen. The touchframe contains a row of infrared LEDsand photo transistors, each mounted ontwo opposite sides to create a grid ofinvisible infrared light.

Optical touch screen technology usestwo optical sensors located at thecorners of the screen. The opticalsensors track the movement of anyobject close to the surface bydetecting the interruption of an infra-red light source.
