My Life’s Timeline• 1986-2004: Raised in Small

Town Manawa, Wisconsin

• 2004-2008: Bachelor of Social Work Degree from UWEC

• 2008-2009: Americorps VISTA in Eau Claire

• 2009-2010: Started Graduate School & moved to Haiti full-time

• 2014: Back in WI… What’s next?

How I Landed in Haiti• March 2009 - first mission

trip to Servants of All Ministries in Haiti with a group of 20 from the Edge

• January 2010 - return to SOAM for 2-week trip with church from Rice Lake

• April 2010 - job offer from God’s Littlest Angels orphanage

• June 2010 - Moved to GLA and stayed there for 3.5 years
